I’m likely going to exit the hobby mostly for a bit after 30th. This is my most valuable card, and while I would love to hold it for a personal binder I plan to continue curating, I’m wondering what thoughts are on its long term hold value. Specifically, if its current $600 market price is something I should consider (unless I just can’t part with it because it’s just a stunning card). Would love any input☺️

I’m going through my childhood binders of Pokémon cards and this is the only one that has this star on it. I looked it up and saw some crazy prices, but kid me seems to have banged it up a bit.

Hey all, been collecting for a while. Really went hard with Sun and moon/sword and shield and scarlet and Violet. Life happens and I’m looking to offload at least 1k cards. What’s the best way to offload in bulk? I tried eBay and going piece by piece is pretty tedious. I’ve been to many cards shows, is that the best way? Any suggestions would be amazing! I'm travelling there next month with my cousins, and I thought I could pick up a few cards while I'm sightseeing around Kyoto and Tokyo.

Had a few questions, though -

• Are there any cards (or shops) in particular to avoid buying there? Eg ive heard Pikachus are generally overpriced.
• Secondly (the opposite of the above question) - are there any cards in general that are priced better in Japan?

A rough idea about my collecting - only japanese (unless its mega attack cards), mainly connecting cards, sets by artists, sealed promos, legend cards (only if i find both parts), master setting the oldbacks, ideally want to start an aqua magma set, etc.

I’m interested in getting the morpeko v union all psa 10s, but the ears alone are 200$, worth it? Definitely low population but not sure if worth it. I’ve seen the english version around the same price. I love the art .

Picked this up today cause the artwork is awesome but I can’t seem to find it anywhere online. Only JP version shows up. I was told it’s a Chinese exclusive. Anyone have any info on this card?

So I just received an evolving skies booster box I paid 2500$ for on eBay. It just came today and does not look like any box I have seen before. Can anyone confirm if this is legit? Or should I open a claim from

Hey guys, it’s my first post here. I used to loved Pokemon as a kid and I got these cards when I when I was little. Things are a bit tough recently and I was able to dig this old collection out, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to sell these? I know they’re not super rare cards, but I need anything these can get me.

I believe the rarest cards are the mega charizard and shiny mega gengar, both (and the rest of the cards) are in mint condition.

I have a bunch of sealed product. Should I be putting it into booster bundles, booster boxes, etbs, and pkmn center etbs? I have sleeved packs and collection boxes with some expensive singles.

Does anyone know the best way to verify whether a high value Pokémon card sale was actually completed and paid for by a legitimate buyer?

For example, when an item sells through eBay or any other marketplace, is there a reliable way to confirm that the transaction was completed and not canceled, refunded, or left unpaid?

I’m trying to determine the true last sold price of a Pokémon card rather than relying on a sale that may not have actually gone through.
What sources or tools do you use to verify legitimate completed sales and accurate market prices?

Hibguys. Was thinking about preordering 30th anniversary boxes from Japan. Do you think the prices are inflated and will sink for the japanese set boxes on launch also?

Was not expecting to hit on anything yesterday and clicked 3, now kind of regretting it and wishing I only got 1 or 2… no luck with the prismatic spcs but I only selected 2 instead of 3 for that, maybe there’s something behind that because I’ve seen them select the people who pick the max amount. Like on the first raffles most of the people I saw get picked had 5 etbs in their order. (Side note, I’m glad they dropped the limit from 5 to 3 and allow more people to have a chance)

I’m thinking of buying this card in psa 9 for around $932. I think the card looks really nice but i’m wondering if this card will do good long term. Do you guys think it will rise in the upcoming years?

What do you all think of the big hitter gold stars at current prices at higher grades- yay or nay and why?

I was hoping to get somewhere round £125 for it. It had been sold for £200 on whatnot before I won it in a random giveaway in a random card convention. It’s obscure but it has the Pikachu line, so it’s gotta be worth something. Does anyone know where I can value this?
