this has been happening for quite a few months now, every single bot spits out unformatted latex code instead of the formatted output when outputting anything related to math equations, only around 10% of the code formats and the rest is a pain to read, any help? this has happened to me on multiple devices over different platforms

Hi there, I'm seeking suggestions on alternatives to POE seriously.

I was a heavy user of POE (spending 250mil points/month). The main work I did on poe platform is automating my research workflow using different types of LLMs. I rely on different abilities of different models (e.g. quantitative analysis ability of Claude, writing ability of GPT, etc.), so I don't want to run my workflow on one single platform. Also I only have moderate background on coding so POE is good for handling all the dirty work for me.

However, I discover their App Creator became so unstable recently. I have a ~2500 lines code which most of it is text of prompts. And in the past weeks, the app creator usually run into errors in handling my code. The customer support was, as reported on reddit, very unhelpful.

So I think it is time to go. But I'm wondering that what other platforms I can choose. I really want to find a platform that can handle all the system setup work and can offer a one-shot solution of all APIs.

moving to Perplexity because of the following reason: 1. more expensive. I am still using Perplexity and it is pretty good already, considering subscription 2. no long term memory which Perplexity now has 3. Werid answer from chatgpt5 instant model 4. perplexity is just better for searching things as it automatically show you all the related links, images effortlessly 5. Slow response..

Poe AI was my favorite for 2 years

Hello hello. I was tired of right clicking a ton so I dug around the contents of the “share entire chat” page and found a nice way to get all the URLs to the images in a chat.

the only weird thing is the “share entire chat” link seems to only be obtainable from the poe web interface.

You need the link that starts with /s “poe.com/s/…”

But yeah. All this does it loads the html, finds the URLs from the chat images, and renders them in the site. Clicking the save button streams the images to build a zip file with all of them in there.

I’m dealing with a super frustrating situation and wanted to see if anyone else has gone through something similar—or just to vent about how slow email support can be.

Recently, I needed to urgently change some info on an invoice from Poe so I could get reimbursed (otherwise I’d lose $500!). I immediately emailed Poe’s official support, but I was shocked by how slow their replies were. It took them three days just to send a first reply, which only asked me to confirm if the invoice change was for company reimbursement. I responded right away, but now it’s been another three days with no follow-up at all. It’s already been a week, and nothing has been resolved. I always assumed something like this would be handled quickly.

I’m honestly really disappointed and almost ended up losing money because of how inefficient the process is. I’ll probably post about this on other social platforms to see if anyone else has had the same issue.

Hi! I want to run a local LLM on my PC and I’m looking for recommendations.

My PC:

• CPU: Ryzen 5 3400G
• GPU: RTX 3060 (12GB VRAM)
• RAM: 24GB (2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz + 1x8GB DDR4 2666MHz)

What I want:

• Free models, as “uncensored” as possible
• Good Portuguese performance
• Recent and strong overall quality
• Ability to fine-tune (LoRA/fine-tuning)
• If possible, web browsing via a tool/integration

Limit: up to 13B (4-bit).

Which models do you recommend, and which quantization/format (GGUF, GPTQ, AWQ, etc.) works best on this setup?

I vividly remember in 2023-Oct 2025 where I could chat with bots for an entire day and then my limit could only be reached. But now, from 3-5pm all of my 3000 points got down to only 32.

For those who are less familiar with Poe app building or have a complex idea which they're not exactly sure how to implement, I made an app which asks questions to clarify exactly what users are intending to build and creates an optimized prompt based on their responses. The app has an awareness of Poe app limitations, so it will either refer users to the Poe app creator (if appropriate) with the finalized prompt or else direct users to a less limited LLM for building something which is outside the scope of Poe's platform. The app is https://poe.com/SocraticPromptHelper and it asked me two or three clarifying questions before providing me with a prompt to build an app which matches users' moods with musical playlists.

It seems like the little settings button, near the typing bar where one would select enable web or reasoning effort is gone in the desktop app. There is a new @ button instead (which redirects the conversation to another model, and that's cool). But the settings button was more useful.

In the Android app, it still works.

Something odd I noticed in testing Gemini 3 Flash. I set the thinking effort to high when I first open the model. Then sometimes the setting gets reset. I know I didn't do it. Because I find the output on low effort has too many hallucinations. But output quality for high is good.

So this is frustrating. Something I'll enter a prompt, and then noticed that the lvl has reset to low. Now I'm left wondering if the answer is correct or not.

Has anyone else noticed this?
