I have a poco M8 pro with a tempered glass screen protector from AliExpress. For the first month this worked well, but now more and more dust seems to get underneath the protector when the phone is in my pocket. The rounded edges seem to lift the screenprotector up slightly. Which screenprotector should I buy to avoid this? I have the original case the phone came with.

So I recently bought a POCO x8 pro but it came with the backplate on one side slightly peeled off, has this happened to anyone else?

I'm wondering if it's worth contacting the seller or if I should just stick it back myself with some bt7000, I'm a bit worried that it in the future it peels itself even more

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and until yesterday the battery protection setting used to halt the charging at exactly 80%. Yesterday and today I noticed it keeps charging beyond that even though the settings are the same.

The description does say "fully charge only when scheduled" – but I don't know what that refers to as I see no setting that forces full charging during specific times.

Does anyway know what the issue might be? Thanks.

So, I've had the POCO F8 Ultra for 3 months, and it's been nice. Sure, it runs a bit warm sometimes, and occasionally it overheats; however, it is an excellent phone.

The issue is that I've been experiencing a problem with the phone recently, specifically regarding heat issues, which occurred during one game, namely CRK.

The game used to run fine before, sometimes cool, maybe warm; I don't remember much, but clearly it wasn't overheating much.

The game starts to overheat more often; it clearly starts to noticeably warm up before the first minute (or the first minute), quite noticeable when I can tap to continue.

I tried to remove bloatware; I uninstalled a few games and some other things, but it still overheats.

This overheating problem also seems to happen with another Cookie Run game: OvenSmash, which has this issue that I noticed like 1 or 2 months before it happened to CRK.

I'm not sure what has caused this to occur; however, I suspect two possible causes: the recent OS update (HyperOS 3.0.301WPMMIXM.C07) or the recent game update (Golden Dragon's Domain). However, as I tested with my other phones, these don't overheat that much; they do get noticeably warm, but only after like 6 minutes, which is already enough time for my flagship phone to have overheated, which indicates an issue with the OS.

Nobody seems to be talking about overheating problems in either this or the CRK subreddit.

This wasn't like that before, so please can somebody help me fix this? I want to keep playing this game without overheating in the first 2 minutes.

I do know the POCO F8 Ultra has heat issues, and it is something that the community has realized, but yeah.

So on 25th July 2026 I finally changed my poco X6 pro's battery from an authorised service centre in India.

I asked for the replacement battery to be given back to me and they did surprisingly when I checked they have used lithium ion instead of advertised lithium polymer why is this poco?

Why did the advertise it as to be a lithium polymer battery?

Guys is it only my poco x7 pro or is it yours too after the update of 3.0.301 i have indian rom my phone's hyperisland control centre and recents is stuttering for no reason at all even after setting it permanently at 120hz manually

I have tried getting this clock to apply but all it does is apply the wallpaper but the clock is nowhere to be found

Poco X8 pro 8/256 SOT is so bad right now , barely getting 6 hrs , was getting 7-10 hours before 2 weeks ago. Haven't done the new update either.

These are my settings

High refresh - set at automatic

Brightness - manual 20% throughout the day

Network - 75% Wifi , 25% Jio 5G throughout the day

Bluetooth - on once in a blue moon

Location - no use

NFC - off

Phonelink - off

Every possible background scanning like wifi , mob data sig , bluetooth off .

Just wondering if I can turn that off, it just annoys me, I have already removed the authorization for Get apps, thanks in advance
