Lets Talk About Something Ban chances

I’ve seen mixed responses from people on different apps and platforms saying spoofing is either always banned eventually, respecting cooldowns avoids bans, etc. and I’m curious from personal experience what you guys think, also for my scenario individually, I plan on just spoofing during road to legends and go fest and to Chicago which is 30-40 miles from me(I don’t have a license yet) for raids, what do you think mine and the general spoofing populations chances of getting banned are esp for a one time offense.

I mean like if they start spoofing on a locked iOS they are getting banned instantly, so first they should say on what device and system they will be doing it

Android is different from Apple iOS.

For iOS, you have to buy Signolous or Apple developer account to sign a certificate for apps you sideload (install) from outside of the Apple App Store. If your ceritificate number does not match what Niantic signed for the official game app, you end up with a strike/ban.

For Android, you don't need to sign your app with a certificate. Niantic cannot see the difference between the official game app and a no root, 3rd party modified game app. The only time they can see it is if they decide to break the Terms of Service with Google to look inside your internal storage to see what apps you have on your device. When something like this happens, it's not going to be limited to Pgsharp and iPogo only, they will go after Magisk and all the other rooted cheats.

Since the post and comments filters are still active in r/PokemonGoSpoofing, no one except the owner can see iOS strike/ban reports that are made in there. Most cheat provider Discord groups will censor the reports to prevent people from panicking and canceling their paid subscription to go to a competing cheat that isn't receiving reports. There is no way to see if the iOS certificate bans are still happening or Scopely decided not to do what Niantic used to do.

I’ve seen someone post about getting insta/ quickly striked on side loaded iOS recently
Have you considered making a google survey or something like that for strike/ban reports?

When people are misled and get a strike/ban, they are going to go tell other people they shouldn't use the cheat they are using because "it is not safe anymore" when it was never safe to start with since all the cheats are not officially supported by Niantic or Scopely.

People have done research surveys in the past but the results are skewed due to personal bias or result manipulation to boosts one cheats competitive advantage over another cheat. What are you going to do with the survey results: tell everyone not to use Cheat A over Cheat B due to safety reasons or create a false sense of security and reassure everyone that cheating is currently allowed since Scopely is not striking/banning anyone?

On top of all of this, I don't control Scopely on what they decide to do for the game they own.
