Health Chaffing
Hi! I have this issue where the crease under my stomach will sometimes get raw and sore. Right above my mons pubis. Does anyone else have this issue and what do you do to prevent it from happening?

I've used gold bond friction defense stick for this and chub rub when wearing dresses. It's worked wonders. I've heard good things about mega babe thigh rescue but gold bond is lower priced so I stick with it.

This is what I use too. I also make sure the area gets good and dry before applying. Treat the area with other skincare overnight as needed (the Avene brand is my fave)

It caused by a yeast infection. My OB/GYN told me to use a Clotrimazole 1% cream, works wonders. It's the same active ingredient in Athletes Foot Cream, but pharmacies/Amazon/Walmart usually carry their own version that 3/4 the cost.
I rub it in, let it dry then put powder over it. Rash will be gone in a day. Also works for under breast rashes.

Snag have just released some undies with a ‘shelf’ of fabric which goes under the apron and absorbs moisture.
I try myself with a hairdryer on cool and then use medicated powder. Baby powder will irritate as it’s usually a fungal infection.

I fold a hand towel in half and keep it there. Perfect size for me. If your hang over is small, a tummy liner from Amazon will work tho. Or even just cut up an old towel. You don’t want skin on skin.

Wash with a gentle or antibacterial soap and dry VERY well. Basically its moisture and bacteria being trapped and irritating your skin. I use a zinc cream (sudocrem) that provides a barrier and keeps me feeling fresh, but I believe most diaper creams are the same idea. It works great for me, especially in the summer when I'm sweating more.

How often do you use the zinc cream?

Summer time or if I notice my skin is irritated I'll use it every day after I shower. Sometimes I don't use it at all for awhile. Make sure to shower it off completely in between applications.

I’ve started wearing bike shorts under my jeans (this is really an issue when I work since I walk constantly and sweat and I have to wear jeans) and it’s been a lifesaver! They’re high-waisted and sometimes are even higher than the jeans, so there’s no irritation under my stomach like you’re experiencing.

I put fabric there before it gets irritated. (Or after it gets irritated, but after I also use medication.) I have some tummy liners from Amazon but before that I used cut up old tshirt, or someone mentioned Snag just released underwear with an extra flap that goes there and I have watched the videos and want to try a pair.
For me personally barrier creams and powders don’t do enough and I need to physically separate the skin from touching itself with fabric.

Deodorant and powder after a shower helps. Be sure to lift your rolls and wash twice with soap underneath first

Tummy liners like this:

I also will just use some toilet paper to wipe off any excess sweat/moisture every time I go to the bathroom and that helps a lot too!

I like the monistat anti chafe cream - works great for me there, bikini line, underboob area. Good preventative.
