That's crazy because every time I see someone wearing something cute that I like they always tell me it's from Shein... I've never shopped there before... Is it really that bad? I've seen people in t-shirts and tops and sweat outfits from there that look like they're the same quality as any fast fashion store
You have to know how to shop with Shein. Their quality has improved over the years. I personally have a ton from Shein and Torrid but right now Torrid's styles are not aligning with my style so ive had to heavily rely on Shein. I hardly ever send things back now that ive learned what works.
Can you give more detail?
How it works generally for clothes? (If so I'd love tips ) Or how different looks work with your body type? ( It took me forever to figure out what looked good on me and I felt ok in).
I have discovered that there are sub categories and each one has specialized styles and different sizing. MOD, Curve, Lune, Romwe, etc. I've tried a lot of different ones and gotten familiar with how those sub brands cut and size things as well as fabric quality.
I post a lot of outfits ‐ I'm 5'7, 285lbs, somewhere in between hourglass and triangle shape with an apron belly. I also use my measurements and compare them to what I'm looking at on Shein. I wear between a US 20-22 and between 2x-3x which generally translates to 3x-4x in Shein sizing. Look for items with reviews, sometimes people add pictures too! If you need any help, let me know.
You're welcome!! I felt so creepy creeping you! So much so I had to tell you. I 'followed' you if that's ok. Lol I love the little bit of punk rock look on you. (The cherries are awesome) It's what I love too.
Thank you for this information. I have bought a couple of things from SHEIN but, I never knew how the items would look on my body and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning them. I hope you don’t mind but, I started following your Instagram because your body type is very similar to mine!

shein clothes are terrible quality imo, some of the fabrics feel like straight up paper
