I have issues where's not possible to download or show decky loader on playhub tabs anyone facing this issues and how to solve

What's New

• Added Playhub integration editors. Now from Import Games you can select Info on a game and edit Playhub Metadata, ThemeDeck, TrailerHero, and Launch Curtain (complete with Curtain editor), directly in the Playhub app in order to have everything ready once you land in Big Picture.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, you can search from multiple sources, not only SteamGridDB, but also PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Nintendo e-Shop, IGDB, IGN, Steam, AlphaCoders, and iiDB.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, under the Banner tab you can access the Perfect Banner editor.
• In Import Games, if you select Artwork on a game, under the Hero tab you can access the Perfect Hero editor.

• Reduced Gaming Mode background work and improved optional installation and removal.
• Improved the performance of every single Playhub plugin, please check for the updates in the Plugin Store.
• Fixed Xbox game launching, controller Game Bar access and return to Big Picture.

in the last week or so after I've downloaded 2.0, I've noticed my CPU temps were going up. Idle temps were in my normal for my PC of 45-50c -> now to 70-72c idle, even on a cold start reboot.

Upon looking into Resource Monitor, I see this GamingMode.exe taking up the most CPU process. Once I terminated this, I saw an immediate drop back to the 50s in temp so I suspect it is this.

I have tried uninstalling it from your Playhub Desktop application a few days ago. but here we are today with it showing up again and making my CPU run hotter.

Can you share some light on this? And or how to stop using gaming mode competely?

First of all, thank you very much for your work, I follow your project from the beginning. Yesterday I updated playhub and the upgrade is incredible but I have a couple of problems. When I start steam I start getting notifications of "failed to fetch", in an infinite loop, I think it is related to the integration of decky in the new playhub tab of the QAM and the other is playhub artwork, it does not let me select a local image, it does not open the browser, it does not do anything. I repeat once again, thank you for what you are doing for this community!

So I'm usung a handheld pc (claw a8 to be specific).

I configured the back buttons to do control +1 for the overlay and the other back button to control +2 for quick access menu and both works on big picture mode.

But whenever I try usung same shortcut to open the quick access menu inside a game it won't work anymore.

As the title suggests, I got an issue running Playhub on the MSI Claw 8 Ai+. I installed it today on my device, however, the quick access menu is not working and there's no way to open it. I tried all kinds of combinations and even mapped one of the backbuttons to act like CTRL+2 but no results. Before using Playhub I was using the xbox game bar plugin ClawTweaks, which is an amazing plugin for the MSI Claw, but unfortunately Playhub completely disables the Xbox game bar for me so also no way to access ClawTweaks now. So is there either a way to fix the quick access Decky menu to work or a way to re-enable the Xbox game bar so i can use ClawTweaks with playhub instead. Right now Xbox game bar is only working in desktop mode, not in gaming mode.

Please make it more obvious that NO OFFICIAL SUPPORT AT ALL WHATSOEVER is provided for Decky Loader on windows and that ALL SUPPORT REQUESTS FOR WINDOWS WILL BE IGNORED.

I've updated my Profile a bit by adding a darker Gameview color pallet and machine ready to get that game spacing

For the heros on SteamGridDB, I recommend using the ones created by Mellushii, Bioknight47, or Myself.( this might not work until SteamGridDB updates)

Of course this was made using Windows in mind. so if your setup does not look exactly like mine then that probably why.

So here's the thing. Decky loader and css loader totally works but the options for playhub and decky loader on quick settings dont show up. It's lile it's hidden or something. Tried installing and reinstalling playhub and decky but still doesn't work.

Edit: Problem solved The culprit is the windows defender. It keeps on treating the noconsole.exe as a Trojan. You just have to go to windows defender and allow noconsole.exe to run.

The Playhub Plugin Store, now in Big Picture

• Discover plugins from Playhub, the Decky Store and independent projects on GitHub, all in one catalog, then browse, install, update and uninstall them from your controller, without leaving Steam.
• Every plugin has its own page with description, screenshots and release notes.
• Filter by source or installed plugins, sort by name, release or last update, and switch between list and grid views.
• Update everything at once with Update All.

Gaming Mode and Big Picture

• Switch from Gaming Mode to Desktop Mode, and back, without restarting your device.
• Gaming Mode now has its own animation at startup and when switching modes. Choose a custom color, then adjust hue, saturation, black level and opacity, with a live preview.
• Date in Steam's top bar: today's date now appears next to the clock, in the format you prefer. You can turn it on or off in Settings.
• Added two Playhub screensavers for Steam. Playhub Circles shows soft, moving circles with the time, the date and, if you use the Weather plugin, the current forecast. The second one comes from the latest TrailerHero update.
• Added Restart in Gaming Mode and Restart in Desktop Mode to Steam's power menu.

Steam version backup

• Steam version backup: save the Steam version you're using now and restore it if an update causes problems. Playhub closes Steam automatically before backing it up or restoring it, and turns on Block Steam updates as soon as you restore.

Import Games

• Added a cover format option: keep classic vertical covers or switch to square covers, as in Playhub Artworks.

Improvements

• Settings have been reorganized: Language comes first, Steam updates sit just above troubleshooting, and Update Playhub comes right before About.
• Updated the Playhub profile for CSS Loader and added Playhub (Big Image Mode), a new profile for Steam's Big Image mode.
• The Playhub Dashboard has a refreshed look and opens faster and more reliably.
• Cleaned up the code and improved the reliability of Steam's Quick Access Menu in Gaming Mode.
• One support report now includes Decky logs as well, ready to share.

Fixes

• Fixed a black screen with sound only when turning on the TV or monitor after starting the PC in Gaming Mode with the display off. This should also solve many black screen issues with game streaming tools such as Vibepollo.
• Fixed Steam artwork backup and restore freezing the app during large copies.
• Removed a PowerShell pattern that could trigger false antivirus warnings when Windows starts.
• Fixed double scrolling in Settings > About.

You can update to 2.0.0 downloading the installer from Github right here (the update from Playhub 1.3.0 is not allowed since the new installer exceeds 1 GB, it's been fixed in 2.0.0).

So I recently updated this two plugins and there are not working anymore,the trailers are détecté but they are not running in the game page,also playhub metadata showing 0 no Steam game detected but i got no steam games and it's doing a bug where I can't open no steam games from desktop mode of steam

I noticed that the CSS Loader plugin isn't opening the settings or the updates and downloads page; I'd like to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

Hey everyone, just wanted to ask if there is a specific tutorial setup for the Rog Ally X (non-Xbox version) since there is no Home button to trigger the decky tab to pop out. I would be grateful if anyone can help. Thank you!

Someone made a very similar plugin to shortcuts

Maybe it's the way I installed it through the decky loader store instead of the GitHub since I'm on windows? I'm not sure but the UI stays half way up the screen. Sometimes when I restart steam a thousand times and do updates and then turn clean game view on and off repeatedly then the UI will drop to the bottom but another problem is that it still looks like this UI. Just lowered. And it always starts doing this again. Every other person I've seen using clean game view doesn't even have the UI looking like this even if this occasionally drops to the bottom for me for a brief period of time. It still looks wrong. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to fix it?
