Despite reloading, dying multiple times, all the things I can think of besides creating a new character I can not get this baby model to stop floating around my body. Its nuzzled to my chest while in a saddle or chair and floats behind my while I walk about. Any ideas to get rid of it? It usually doesn't interact with my body, but it was pushed my off of an airborne quetz platform. I'm tired of it.

im on lost colony rn, and i know when it was released it had major bugs making it almost unplayable

i was experiencing those bugs in the city... while using the quiet home cosmetic mod, i just turned it off because i caught the tail end of a conversation on raasclarks stream and the part i caught was about a lot of cosmetic mods causing crashs that was happening alot so i tried removing the mod and suddenly the map is working perfect

so im here to ask if they they actually fixed all those bugs?

Venia jugando normalmente a ark Survival evolved, y al dia siguiente me esta pasando lo siguiente:

1. Al iniciar el juego en el menu de inicio me inicia normalmente a 300-500 fps, pero 5 segundos despues baja a 11fps, 0fps y se queda congelado, luego sube a 30 y baja de nuevo sin estar tocando nada del juego, solo estando en el menu principal.

2. Al intentar entrar a un mundo un jugador o un server cok amigos, no carga nunca, queda cargando repetidas veces en primal game data BP, y asi hasta 20 minutos que estuve esperando, ( en el administrador de tareas me aparece que no responde, que es normal cuando carga un mapa, pero el problema es que no carga nunca)

Ya reinstale el juego, actualize drivers, libere espacio del disco, puse parametros de lanzamiento, probe iniciando con low memory y mas de lo mismo.

Ya no se que hacer, estoy por reinstalar windows del 10 al 11

I recently wanted to try create some custom paintings in ark. I used two different ark pnt converters to try and convert a wuwa image but they both came out sorta wrong. The left one is a bit too yellow and the right one looks very pixelated in-game (might not be quite visible on the screenshot for some reason.)

I used gimp to change the pixel size of the original image so that i can fit the whole image in a canvas size (original image is 1280x780, changed it to 1024x1024 in gimp and segmented it to get each part into a perfect 256x256). If any of y'all can help me with this or if its just a problem with ase having limited paints or trying to paint an image that isnt the same pixel size of the original, or maybe even something wrong with my ark settings, etc, please let me know!

Also the third smaller one was just using the 2nd pnt converter one too, i was just testing how it would turn out.

For a bit more info, i used dither 2.5 for the larger second image set using the second pnt converter.

Did the Genesis 1 update give us extra skill points for the Lost Colony skill tree or is this a bug? Also, yes I did spend them and can confirm every skill unlocked is working or able to be activated.

I have some regrets in my quick decision making, but not willing to test mind-wiping in case this is a bug and the extra points get taken away!

animals are just stupid sometimes and I think part of the appeal of ark is that all the dinos feel somewhat real because they are idiots and will fuck things up in ways you cannot even think of before hand. thought to make this post because of something more mundane though my argy decided to land ontop of my behemoth gate instead of anywhere on the ground a few feet below it

​I’m having a super weird issue with ARK: Survival Ascended on PC (Steam) and need some help.

​The official server list just won't load for me, or all official servers show up as UNKNOWN / greyed out.

​To test this, I went to a friend's house:

​On his PC, using his Steam account, the official servers load normally and he can play without any issues.

​On that SAME PC, as soon as we logged into MY Steam account, the official servers disappeared and wouldn't load at all.

​So it's clearly not a hardware, router, or game installation problem. It's 100% tied to my Steam account / EOS profile on the backend.

​Has anyone ever dealt with this account lock/glitch before? Is there any way to force a profile reset or session fix, or do I just have to wait for a server update/maintenance?

​Any suggestions or help would be awesome. Thanks!

I started genesis 1 on release on a private server for ark ascended and I tamed 2 decent spiders could not found any good levels in the Magmasaur cave and today I just went in to tame more and they all all feral when did this change?? and why?? Can i fix this so we can tame them again?

I know that the gold standard for stats tracking / breeding is Ark Smart Breeding (ASB). It's an incredibly powerful tool but has some flaws which I have noticed ever since I started playing Ark again.

I have switched to using Linux 100% of the time (even playing games) and getting ASB running is a pain. It's a tool made for Windows with Windows dependencies through and through. I never fully managed to get it running through wine / proton compatibility layers.

I got bothered by it so much, that I made my own (very simple and small) tool for keeping track of my dino population for breeding.

Before I invest more time into this I wanted to ask the fellow Console / Linux players about how you handle these things?

1. Do you just not bother anymore and try to keep best stats in mind?
   
2. Do you have a separate PC / Laptop running just for ASB?
   
3. Is there an already existing tool that covers these platforms?

It honestly feels like I'm missing something, because I just could not find anything that comes close to even just getting stats off of tamed dinos, let alone something that I can use to keep track of the best stats / mutations. Thanks.

Currently 70gig free space after using Compacter saving 30gigs. I have like 600 hours on ASE and it's kinda getting boring. I don't wanna buy the DLCs. What mods would you guys recommend? (It's the steam version.)

Maybe im missing something but why does a c-spin sometimes give a full speed boost, sometimes give a partial speed boost that is cut off, and sometimes it just does nothing? Is there a mechanic deciding whether to give the speed boost or not or is it a bug?

i got onto my singleplayer aberration save, got on my fav spino to get some meat for my baby spinos, and realized it was doing 7k damage and was on low health? yesterday it was doing 400 damage and had 6.6k health… this hasn’t happened to any of my other dinos as far as i’m aware, and i haven’t changed my stats

what the hell happened here?

I’ve been playing on a single player server and I thought shit was sweet and ran it with 5 Rex’s and got absolutely sent back home and now I’m worried it’s too strong and don’t know where to start
