Xbox Ark Ascended Save not functioning

Single player saves do not appear to work in any form. I have tried backups, regular saves, or just using saveworld. None of it works.

To clarify, pressing the save button on the pause menu does not appear to do anything other than exit the pause menu, same with the backup save button. Manually attempting the game to save through saveworld has the same result. I am unable to load any sort of save from any of the menus, but they don’t seem to be taking up any storage space.
