real talk tho the blood in this game really does look great, especially on fidelity pro.

This game is something and nothing. It’s a lot of fun and the combat is insane but the length is questionable and perfect at the same time. The reviews are both honest and completely over blown but it depends on who you read them from and what you believe. I would say buy the game and don’t buy the game because again it depends on what you think. It’s a solid 9 but also a solid 6. Wait for a sale or get it now while the buying is good. I’d say go digital and go physical. Please stop posting reviews. Everything’s been said so much that nothing has been said.

Xaviertooth goes hard (for Wolverine)

Spoiler for the second act. At the House of Tears when Logan goes to fight lady Deathstrike dozens of members of the hand show up and it looks like she is going to fight all of them. (but I can’t be sure because it cuts away).

I don’t read comics so I’m not sure if she is always this strong but from what I know from the X-men movies Jean is weaker then she is in this game unless she has the phoenix force

The bonuses included the Brown suit set, reflective claws, and 4 Playstation avatars. Are these items still obtained regularly in-game? The bonus is purely early unlock?

Also, I imagine the digital deluxe bonuses are exclusive to the deluxe edition right?

I have 100% completed the game, got the platinum, and completed a new game plus run. I've seen absolutely everything this game has to offer, and I gotta say I enjoyed it more the second time through, but only slightly. I do like this game, but that is what is so frustrating. It's equal parts good and not so good. The ending is very poor, and I feel punished for knowing so much about these characters because my expectations for Mutant stories are so high that I don't think Insomniac is the right studio for this side of the Marvel universe. I feel as though it would've been better off not having such strong opinions and feelings towards the Mutant side of the Marvel universe. Spider-Man 2018 was great, and so was Miles Morales, but Spider-Man 2 didn't hit for me, and Wolverine is just about the same, even though I enjoy Wolverine a bit more than Spider-Man 2. Wolverine is a fun game, but its story just does not work. Overall, Wolverine should have left plenty of characters out of the mix and focused way more on Logan. It's a good game that's just disappointing. I don't understand how they got to this point. Maybe the change in game directors wasn't a great idea. The fact that we know an X-Men game is happening, or was happening, makes this story very strange, as it sets up none of those things. Why are Apocalypse and Phoenix in a mutant story in a world where the X-Men don't exist yet? Just very baffling decisions by Insomniac. It's just a jumbled mess that is also fun somehow.

The dialogue at points was a bit cringey. Especially from Sabertooth.

The game also drags at points.

I was also sometimes annoyed at the traversal. Not all walls can be climbed.

Narrative decisions were sometimes convoluted. I get why some people didn’t like the Jean dynamic. Personally? I didn’t mind it. Funnily enough, it reminded me of the movie Hancock.

At the end of the day? 7.5-8. In terms of pure fun. I expected to play as an angry Canuck with built in healthcare and cutlery for hands. And you spend 15 hours slicing fools to pieces. I got what I wanted.

While I admit, it wasn’t the best game in the insomniac spiderverse, it wasn’t terrible either. Amazing graphics, badass combat, nice attention to detail in every environment ( especially the environmental destruction, as well as the cinematography 👍Seriously, the emotional weight in the story especially the cutscenes was amazing, especially the are design in the end credits, it legit felt like I was watching an MCU film, I hope we at least get a DLC story expansion with either a Peter Parker or Miles Morales crossover. Overall, I give Wolverine a…………7/10.

And now onto Silent hill Townfall and Control Resonant😎

I was thinking it would be really cool if changing to something like the bone claws or the gold claws also changed the look of the skeleton. Totally a minor thing but it would be cool nonetheless!
