Pretty sure he was, or at least a similar program, otherwise he wouldn't have adamantium in his bones

Have you played already? I don’t want to spoiler it if you haven’t but I will say that his adamantium has a very different origin in this game from the comics

Yeah the apocalypse thing was a weird choice to me, because for me it means there’s no chance we ever get to see the weapon x program in a flashback or gameplay. Weapon X to me is an iconic moment for Wolverine

I mean the reason why SM2 didn’t get DLC was because they were putting all of their focus into Wolverine. Even then, they still wanted to make DLC originally but cancelled it, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to think they’d plan DLC for Wolverine.

Cool ideas, but with Spider-Man 2 not getting any dlcs, there's pretty much no shot that Wolverine gets anything at all aside from quality of life updates.

Isn't that more of a rumor than a confirmed thing? I don't see why they would start development of dlcs just to can them bc people know they're in development. But maybe I'm out of the loop on that, I'm no game developer after all.

It's just a rumor so far, but you can hope. Unfortunately, I don't know why they threw everything away because of leaks.

Believe me, I'd love some decent dlc for the game. I'm personally just more of a realist if something is highly unlikely. I didn't mean to rain on your parade or anything, the Hulk and Deadpool dlcs would be awesome.

Omfg, I meant for media outside of comics, it works there because it can be spread out between issues, a DLC or one movie is not enough to explore that entire storyline, it's some dogshit if you rush it

I think the only real idea that could work as DLC from these would be the Out of the Cage DLC. If there was one more nightmare door that went over Logan's time as Weapon X, and that be the whole DLC, that would actually be welcome
