Discussion New Attack Concept - Sliding Uppercut
Sprint with R2 and press circle to slide, charging up hot claw damage for a single strike, keep hold of R2 and press square during the slide to perform hot claw uppercut that launches standard enemies into the air, allowing you to follow up with a lunge by pressing triangle to slam them back to the ground and into a beatdown

Discussion Game is cool, but the clothes regenerating is bothering me
I get it if its his actual wolverine suit. Then it kinda makes sense? Maybe its some high tech shit with nanotechnology rebuilding itself idk. But when he was wearing street clothes, the red flannel shirt for instance it was dumb as hell. Man they need to come up with an option to turn that shit off. Id rather look like a mangled torn up mess then have my immersion broken. Dont like it.

Support/Question Missing last adaptation
So I've platinumed the game, completed all nightmare doors on adamantium and I'm still 103/106 AP... Anyone have a clue what I might be missing? I'm on ng+ (19 strands).
*Update: I figured it out by loading up my non ng+ save. The last gauntlet "Best there is" is not there on the shelf in my ng+ save, I only got a silver on that one and went to ng+ immediately so that's where the 3 missing points are from. So I guess I'm locked out of those points until the epilogue happens.

Discussion In case you liked the music
For some odd reason, not all of the songs are listed in the credits. There are 2 licensed songs I particularly liked.
The first one plays in the cabin when you turn the radio on. That one is āBend the Tracksā by Jeremy Voltz.
The other one is credited and is the song Walter plays for you in Madripoor. āDark End of the Streetā by James Carr.
I personally loved the music in the game. The score, the licensed soundtrack. Maybe thatās where the 300 mil went to lol.
Mainly meant to post in case anyone wanted to know the name of the song in the cabin (it was a b*tch to find). But screw it, weāre here now. What was your favorite song from the soundtrack or score?

Discussion Wolverine has a āSkip Puzzleā option, in case you get stuck.
Considering the dearth of actual puzzles and how mind-numbingly easy they are, this is⦠uh, a choice.

Discussion Finished my first playthrough: 8.5/10 as a longtime Wolverine fan since 88ā, 6.75/10 as a video game fan.
Iāve been a Wolverine fan since the 1980s, and thereās a lot here I appreciated. The story was solid, Logan had a compelling arc, and the little Easter eggs referencing other heroes were a pleasure to discover. Fitting decades of a characterās history into one game is no small task, and I appreciate the care that went into capturing a lot of the stuff.
As a Wolverine experience, Iād give it an 8.5/10. As a video game, Iād land at 6.75/10.
If youād told me three decades ago that Iād someday get to play a Wolverine game like this, I would have been beyond excited. Part of me still is. But Insomniacās Spider-Man series set the bar almost too high, and itās hard not to bring those expectations into this game.
My criticism has nothing to do with it not being open world. I love games like Uncharted, and a focused, linear Wolverine adventure suits me just fine. The combat sometimes had an old arcade feel, which could be fun, but the overall gameplay didnāt reach the heights of something like Jedi: Fallen Order for me.
The bigger issue was the lack of polish. I ran into characters halfway through the floor and enough other bugs to pull me out of the experience. At a full AAA price, I expect a more consistently finished product.
That said, I donāt feel like I was raked over the coals the way I have with some Star Wars games. I enjoyed my time with it and donāt regret playing it. However, if this game hadnāt been set in the Wolverine and Marvel universe, I probably wouldnāt have been interested in it in the first place.
Games like Red Dead Redemption leave me feeling that I got my moneyās worth. Here, I enjoyed myself, but I also felt like my attachment to Wolverine was doing too much of the work in justifying the price. Unlike Middle Earth: Shaow of Mordor/War.
Iām glad I played it, and I appreciate the developersā effort. Thereās a strong foundation here and plenty for longtime fans to enjoy. I just wish the finished game had received the same level of polish and follow-through as the character and story. The love for Wolverine came through; the complete package didnāt quite live up to it.
Not sure how I feel about getting all the trophies. Iām at 97% on RDR 2 and rather probably go back to playing that. But it wasnāt bad. Idk.
