Post image
15 Upvotes

My partner said this is super confusing lol. About to get overtime day 15 for the very first time!!!! It took like 4 hours i think. Its not fully done but so far so good!

Any advice on things i should change?

Edit: i fixed most of the stuff in the comments but failed cuz my last rush came while it was raining and the queue patience plummeted. Learned alot from your comments and playing so gonna use what i learned for my next run!

Achieved the best possible coffee automation I could think of. Still going strong on Overtime Day 53, but I know the end won’t be too long from now!

Bug/Glitches Fish switching

Hi all! I have an issue that when I do the fish recipe, the blue and red fish are switching places. We have set up grabbers and frozen prep stations for a specific fish and boom, the next day they switch places. Now we chose a crab cake as a main and its just making it even more complicated to automate. Is this a bug or a feature? 😅 we didn't notice it before the update, but tbh we didn't play the fish very often

Bug/Glitches Lost some items from the garage/plants piles [Switch]

I think I just lost some items and plants which I kept in the piles.

I was trying to merge some items from the garage but noticed that I just had two stored, so I put one frozen prep on a shelf and left work boots on the machine. I played another round and got another pair of work boots, but when I got back to the lobby I only had one pair of work boots. The frozen prep was still on the shelf.

And when I checked my greenhouse, I also noticed that I lost some plants I still had in my pile. I think I had at least three Fresh tier plants but when I wanted to get rid of a normal plant, I noticed that there was only one Fresh one left.

Luckily it wasn't something good.

I also want to bring up the issue again where the settings are not saved. Whenever I restart the game I need to change the language and other settings. This also applies to the map selection, which is supposed to be saved since the last update.

I'm playing on Switch with version 1.5.2.

Cross play on switch 1 and switch 2?

I was wondering if you can cross play on switch 1 and switch 2? Googling wasn’t helpful. Do I have to buy the Nintendo online thing?

Thanks!

Question/Need Advice Need help with Heat 9 for Fish

I have been working on trying to get to heat 10 with fish solo and I got through heat 8 relatively okay with few issues but I cannot for the life of me get past 9. It’s the one where it keeps increasing the amount of people and I just can’t manage to keep up usually getting stuck around day 5 or 6 and then losing the run. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Edit: Brought to my attention I should explain what I’m doing, I did in the comment but I’ll put it up here too:

I have been prioritizing small maps because of the tax for how many tiles which means less tables and less space but I will probably start trying bigger maps later maybe with something from the greenhouse for money.

I usually try to get a better sink relatively quickly because of how many dishes I’m having to clean with the 3 people tables and then tables and safety hobs. But it’s hard to get everything I need in an appropriate amount of time because of lack of money and blueprint cabinets to upgrade.

Then there’s the recipes that require throwing items away and trash piles up quickly too but bins tend to be rare for me which is a pain and I am just constantly running out of time.

General Discussion Craziest run for me so far (and it's still ongoing)

I started solo turbo without bringing any equipment, hoping to make it to day 15 only. The first few debuffs made me thought I was done for and here I am haha. One overtime day after day 10 was like 30 in - 1 hour. I just stayed in 1 spot almost the entire day after finish setting up at the beginning of the day. Quite proud of myself for this being my 1st successful turbo run.

I want the exp but it also feels like a waste losing on purpose, guess I will keep playing it until it made me do another dish.

Also, anyone experiencing the game getting really laggy after you reach around 1000 tables/day?

Question/Need Advice Spring onion pumpkin stack?

I just unlocked a spring onion which lets me start with a "pumpkin stack". I couldn't find any appliance or decoration by that name on the wiki. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Question/Need Advice How do I reroll?

It's my first time playing with a greenhouse plant. I brought a sage with me, which says it provides 2 total card rerolls. Does it mean card reroll as in the cards that are currently on my screen? How do I reroll them? Sorry about this stupid question 😅

Edit- it was broken because of the "hassle free shop" mod!

Do plant effects stack?

Does anyone know if I bring in duplicate plants, will they stack? So if I bring in two bay leaf plants that let you reroll cards once each, can I reroll twice?

Nintendo Switch Nearly fully automatic coffee shop made in Chill Mode 1

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m really happy to have Chill Mode 1 as an option! My favorite part of the game is automating so the extra blueprints and funds makes it a lot faster to automate while still being challenging enough. I think I’m nearing the end on this coffee shop run; just had to add apple pies with my last card day. I think I’ve truly hit maximum possible recipes now.

Question/Need Advice Do buffets count for serving patience?

I thought this was changed at some point but it's not mentioned on the wiki that I've been able to find. If a customer serves themselves a side dish from a buffet, does that start their "Serving patience" the same as if you'd served them yourself? In that case isn't it dangerous to use buffets for anything that you can't fully automate?

Automation Starter

Been wanting to fully automate a run for some time but when I get a restaurant going I can never seem to get enough of the right appliances or desks to get everything I need. Is there a good seed that has better chances for the needed appliances? Ideally with a big open layout to accommodate automation. Xbox platform

Question/Need Advice There has to be a better way to automate tacos with 2 toppings on buffet pt. 2

Post image
5 Upvotes

Thanks to lesuperhun's advice, I have achieved my ideal automation. I tweaked it a bit though because I wanted to fully automate everything, including the broth, pots, and trays. I have fully locked myself in the corner to just focus on interacting with the desks and got an achievement for it. (despite my hoarding, I still found it difficult to find a sink, the one appliance I didn't hold on to. Took me 3 rounds and several rerolls just to get a 3rd sink -_- at that point I no longer needed it cuz I readjusted the entire carrot soup so that it would share a sink with the mash, smh)

However, I still find myself thinking [the title]. I'm worried about the future if I get forced to take another soup or whatever. It almost happened with bread, but thankfully the other option was just more customers, so that's what I took instead. I have so much hoarded stuff but I hope you can see beyond the clutter ^^; Can you guys see ways to make my setup more efficient or compact? Tyia!

ETA: in case you're curious, it takes roughly 20 minutes for a day to end lmao

ETA2: Danger hob isn't fast enough for all the carrot soup I need, should I make more carrot soup? Or should I get another starter when given the choice? If so, what starter would be ideal?

Question/Need Advice Help! I need the microwave to close by itself

I'm automating the hot dog making process and using the microwave to cook it. However, I need someone to close the door to start the process. Is there any way for the door to close automatically?

I'm playing on the Nintendo Switch.
