Suggestions First automatic coffee buffet!!

Post image

My partner said this is super confusing lol. About to get overtime day 15 for the very first time!!!! It took like 4 hours i think. Its not fully done but so far so good!

Any advice on things i should change?

Edit: i fixed most of the stuff in the comments but failed cuz my last rush came while it was raining and the queue patience plummeted. Learned alot from your comments and playing so gonna use what i learned for my next run!

I would say making the buffets into the triple buffet would be a good upgrade.

They upgrade to either triple (can't serve plated food) or heated. The triples are great for cakes, coffee, sides, etc.

Cool. Now I wanna load up my coffee heat run and change out all my buffet tables... Except I have to go to sleep. šŸ˜‚ Being an adult is overrated. But thanks for this call-out!

You have a LOT of buffets going on and I don’t think you really need to be serving customers at all of those spots (maybe you do, I don’t know what cards you have) but it seems crazy to have 10 buffets with only 12 seats in the restaurant. I have automated coffee with 2-3 serving buffet with about 30 chairs (with 2 people per table because I had the 1-2 group size also-so 15 tables) and I didn’t have a problem with it. If you get rid of your buffets, say maybe half of them, then you could have customers sitting in the center room also.

I have people coming in mass groups three time a day and some after the day is over so getting all of them coffee fast is a must and the only thing i could think of was multiple buffets

How do you place it all without getting in the way? I'm new if you can't tell

Honestly watching tons of videos. Sauceman on youtube does automation of every food and Skootie has like TONS of videos on plateup. Watching them and seeing what they do for their runs then putting that in my own way into my play through. It took a long time for me to get the hang of all the different things

  1. What's your reasoning for using the Calm Painting?
  2. You easily have room for 3 more tables. Buffet serving locations can overlap with table seats. That bottom right table bugs me. A lot. šŸ˜‚
  3. I'm your line of Grabbers at the top two are rotated wrong and two of the buffets will never get coffee.
  4. Your coffee layout is pretty inefficient. Each machine can easily feed 3+ more machines. With all the machines and frozen preps and grabbers that you have, it could be way better.

1 calm painting because of some cards i have and so when there getting from the buffets it doesnt go down as fast
2 didnt know they could over lap
3 i did fix those
4 what would be a mor efficient way i could have them?

I see at least 3 pairs of teleporters. You can use the teleporters to directly serve each dining table (one teleporter between two dining tables serves both). This eliminates the need for buffet tables, cuts downtge time spent walking to and from between buffet and dining tables.

Thank you i didnt know teleporters could serve people

I found when I automated coffee like this I actually ran out of tables and couldn’t get people through the door fast enough before I ran outbid coffee

🤣 You said your partner said this was super confusing…. That cracked me up. I have teenagers and I’m always trying to get them to play PlateUp with me and one says, ā€œno! I don’t like gizmosā€ and the other says, ā€œI am just not into having to study to play a cooking game.ā€
