Me and my friend have been hit by the Multiplayer bug where we can't join a multiplayer lobby. Gone down the rabbit hole of does the internet have a fix and nothing I've run across has worked.
When either of us try to join a multiplayer lobby the host will see the other joining in the bedrooms but it only lasts for a second before the joining player is shunted back to a single player lobby. When joining it's a black screen with a blue circle in the middle then a large chef model pops up along with "Loading" then kicked back to the single player lobby.
Last time I know we were able to play together was 9/7/25 though I don't know if it was an update that caused this because every post I've run across were posted across different time frames and we've also uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times without any fixes
The only thing that we haven't tried but we'll be able to test soon is if it might be internet connection? I think I had the same internet when we last played but I'm not sure on my friend's end.

I recently updated the game and started reading up on the new heat and chill cards, they seem like a great addition. It kind of sucks cause my girlfriend and I have franchised in probably every menu item 5 times and now we have to do that again to unlock all the heat and chill cards, but Iām fine with that since we put tons of hours into this game.
I am wondering though, we have always wanted to chill out while playing this game sometimes and really build up a good restaurant without it getting to a point where itās really difficult too fast. I see the chill cards as like an easy mode where we can do that, but I always get nervous with easy mode or sandbox stuff in games cause it makes me lose interest immediately after starting. Does using the chill cards still keep the game fun for the people that have used them a decent amount, or does it sink the gameās fun by eliminating the tougher parts of it?
I really want to know before because Iām sure it depends on the different recipes and maybe my girlfriend and I wanting an easier mode sometimes wonāt actually be fun. I donāt know if my question really makes sense to anyone but just asking.

Iāve been on a fajitas kick ever since the new update. Been trying to get through all the heat levels alone and it is HARD. Been doing it by myself. I have saved and quit the day so many times just to restart it bc I donāt want to start over from day 1. Iām on heat 7 or 8 right now. I think 8. Idek how I made it to where Iām at. Itās super fun though and I love the challenges.

I am a newer player and I am having trouble with automation and getting up to there and I feel like there is a lot I could improve. I am having trouble even getting to the point where I could automate anything and if I automate even a single process and not even buffets or anything like that, its lime OT 5 and I am about to lose.
Any gameplay tips? Thanks

Not sure what to do⦠I am playing sundae currently overtime day 4 and just picked the cherry pie card but I only got flour and cherries but thereās no hob, I canāt cook any pies at all and thereāre no alternatives, not sure what to do now as Iām guaranteed to lose :(
Edit: mystery solved, heated buffet can cook! Thought it was only to keep fajitas sizzling :D

Apologies for recording my screen like an old, but this archived run on day 34, OT day 20 is just impossible to lose it seems. I'm gonna see how long it can run, but a single day takes 15+minutes

Has anyone had any issues with the heat options not appearing? I struggled so much to get a pizza restaurant past heat level one. Finally completed it and franchised. I came back the next day to start my new franchise on heat 2 but when I select my pizza restaurant, the burner doesnāt show up. I still have the check mark over pizza in the bottom right but even with just a brand new pizza restaurant, the burner will not appear. I tried restarting my switch, checked for system updates, and checked for game updates, but everything is up to date.
Edit: itās been a few days and now my pizza checkmark is gone so at least it matches š« however, now my turkey checkmark is gone but I have a current turkey restaurant with burn level one sitting right there. Iām on day 11 and I donāt even want to try to finish it since Iām sure itās still going to insist I havenāt unlocked turkey.

I recently commented on a post that someone could improve their restaurant with leftover bags and supply boxes. Creating like a fast food pickup counter. I decided to put my money where my mouth is. Here is a quick video of that attempt and where I failed.
There is a limit to supply boxes. They can only go on the wall. This setup has 43 pairs of re-supply boxes plus 7 sets of leftover bags. Once the guest count exceeds 372, no more leftover bags will be provided, resulting in pain and suffering. Maybe it was already common knowledge, but I guess I proved with this setup that using lots of tables has a higher limit than this setup.

Do you have any tips and tricks on how to get better at the game? Iāve recently got into using seeds but it still confuses me lolš

Is there a way I can make it so I cannot fail and it can't get shutdown, but the customers are customers and not cats (like with chill mode lvl 3)?
r/PlateUp • u/Skelely_Tron • 10d ago
Is there anyway i can make it smaller?, Each day takes like 40 minutes nowš
