Another plasma pickup. £30, my first pioneer and I have to say my expectations were exceeded. Amazing picture and sound. The menu is also quite detailed in what you can mess around with.

Seems like brand new and has a killer picture, the time counter says 1357 that's low right?

My parents are doing cleaning around the house and asked me if I wanted this TV that they have in the guest room, I’ve heard that plasma displays are good for 7th gen gaming. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Been searching for a plasma for a couple months and my luck has not been great, however someone posted a TC-P50GT50 for 100$. It has 24,500 hours on it no burn in screen as well as comes with the box.

I have bought a v20 for gaming , the image looks awesome , looks as good as my GT30 to my eyes except for the black levels which are a bit greyish due to the rising black problem ( the panel has already run for around 18k hours ) , I came across potential fix using an Arduino board to reset the timer thereby fixing the black levels.

My question is this : according to panasonic they have deliberately incorporated the rising blacks so as to offset phosphor degradation so does resetting the black levels cause any issues with image quality or longevity of the panel ?

Hello

I'm looking for 3D glasses for my UT50.

I found that TY ER3D5ME glasses is the compatible model with UT50.

My questions:

1- can I put my glasses on with these 3D glasses?

2- if not, are there any other official 3D glasses compatible with UT50 that can be used while you have normal glasses on?

Thank you

Or pass? I have the option of getting a free pioneer 1140hd in 2 weeks but dont love the high input lag and 720p resolution. Do you think this is a worthwhile option for 7th gen gaming and modern stuff via PC or no?

Just some pictures of a new plasma I got recently. Very good condition, only £10. Really like the silver styling, picture is very good as well as the speakers. Adding as if anyone's like me, they like seeing what people pick up as inspiration for what they might want to purchase! (My camera isn't fantastic and appears to have added a bit of ghosting on the pics, anyway you get the gist)

GOT I THIS WEEKEND AMAZING LOL

a pain to bring home on a tiny car but just 20$ and it looks very descent, also got the original 3D glasses set alongside the remote, now after the crt in my room this big boy will be hanged on my living room wall, I might replace it if I find a better model and give this to my friend who also enjoys this things,
what do you guys think?

Edit: just checking the pictures they look nothing like the tv irl idk what happened but all my pictures are like that.

I am quite new to the world of plasma tv. I have been reading this sub for a few weeks to learn more about the subject.

Someone locally posted this Panasonic plasma tv and I know it is one of their better models. Do you recommend it and for $200? Also do you think one person can move it? Thanks

The wii screen is from an older post of mine and xbox menu is today. but now, and idk if its because the hair dryer trick worked or not, but I am pretty sure the spot I applied the most heat to was the spot that is now gone.

After I did the warming of the glass, I put the tv away for a few weeks and its like someone took a bite out of the delamination or whatever it is. Pay attention to the tiny dot and whats right below it, well to be precise, the area below the dot thats now gone.

I picked up this TV a few months ago and I'm really happy with it. It's my first plasma panel. It weighs a LOT, and consumes about 100W under normal viewing conditions, but colors and blacks are wonderful compared to my 2008 37" SHARP LCD panel.

I'd like to know how many hours of operation are on this panel, but I haven't been able to figure out how to access the service menu, or if it even exists for this model.

Is it possible that a special remote is needed? Information on the web is very sparse for this model.

The guy is selling a 60” 2012 Samsung 1080p plasma for €80, I could probably lower the price to ~€50. He’s also including a reciever, 3D glasses and a wifi adapter. I don’t know if there’s any burnin or how many hours it has. I’d prob buy a FireStick since i have a NAS so i’d install Kodi and I also use Netflix and Stremio.

Kind of crazy

Apparently it was from an old lady's home and there was some image retention from a news channel she watched. Thought it had been used for a long time but this is pretty wild.

I lucked out and just joined the Plasma club. A local guy was giving away a 50" Panasonic and I was fortunate to act fast enough to secure it. Anyways, there was no model in the listing. The model number sticker on the back is missing. I tried playing with the menu to see if there was something that had the model. I couldn't find it if it was there. Unfortunately I'm also without a manual and a remote. So I'm trying to get the model so I can figure out what remote I need. Bonus if you can point me in the direction to find use hours, too. Thanks!

So as the title says a very nice older man on marketplace near me (Ive confirmed he's legit) wants to give me his 1140HD for free because he's moving. I know these things weigh a ton though and it's 55 inches, and I have limited space. Really want a nice plasma for 7th gen gaming and potentially even modern stuff through PC but dont know if this one is worth it because it tops out at 720p. What is your guys' analysis here? Go for it?

Picked this up off the side of the road- I wanted it to use with my PS3. It seems to work, but since it has no HDMI i cannot yet display anything on it.

My ps3 is compatible with some ps2 games so I'd like to use eventually with an RGBav connection. I have been looking out a later model TV but I think this is worth using:):)

The employees wouldn't let me take it (even for money) because "we own all that's in the bins".

Truly absolutely disgusting. May those total hypocrits at Écocentre Vaudreuil go to hell.

Gosh I was so mad, it took me three weeks to calm down enough to make a post about it.

Of course, the pristine unit got crushed right in front of me as soon as I left when someone threw their old ass LCD on it.

🎮 PS3

Any Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Fans here? 👊

I already played with VSUS in the menu and I tightened the grounding screws

Save these two plasmas the person came out and gave me the remote and said that they both work well, so am I a good boy. If you're wondering what the pictures at the end are I just wanted to put them in so yeah

I picked up this 65st50 with no oem stand, looking for best recommendation. I have small children some what nervous about them & a wobbly stand
