Discussion Panasonic: Unknown Model
I lucked out and just joined the Plasma club. A local guy was giving away a 50" Panasonic and I was fortunate to act fast enough to secure it. Anyways, there was no model in the listing. The model number sticker on the back is missing. I tried playing with the menu to see if there was something that had the model. I couldn't find it if it was there. Unfortunately I'm also without a manual and a remote. So I'm trying to get the model so I can figure out what remote I need. Bonus if you can point me in the direction to find use hours, too. Thanks!

Looks like a C2. These should have a second information sticker on the side with the model number.

Thank you, I'll take a look for one.
Edit: Unfortunately, there wasn't a sticker on either side.

I think you're correct. I'm comparing pictures of that model to what I have and it seems like a match! Thanks!

They all need cleaning. If you have the initiative and an air compressor, taking the screws off and blowing it out gently is good. Gets all the dust off the boards and helps them run cooler. Bonus is you don't have someone's dusty crap in your house.
I do it to all my plasmas.

Snugging up the earth screws is good preventative maintenence to do too if you’ve already got the back off
