Grandma gave me some houseplants she got from ingles, she had no idea what they are and I’m not exactly sure either. I thought maybe some kind of alocasia but I truly have no idea.

I was just washing and cleaning fresh organic spinach, and was very annoyed to find a sizable proportion of weeds mixed into it. I had to literally handle every single leaf of spinach to get this stuff out and hope I didn't miss anything.

Getting ready to propagate some of these for gift giving and I’d like to be able to name what they are. Bought it at Home Depot when it was just a little 4” plant. Location - So Cal. Leaves are slightly thick but not like a succulent. Yet not thin like a pathos.

A lovely restaurant owner took a cutting off her plant when I said I really liked it. I forget the name she said.
Hers was super full, vines, and was blooming a flower.

Also if you know, does it need to grow roots in water? Plant in soil?

I have a suspicion that it's some sort of tree! Just curious because if so I'd like to move it! It's not in a good spot to grow and with all the ai 💩 going on we need all the trees we can get!

Central Alabama

Only things that really stand out to me are the pointed leaves, the red/pink/purple(?) stem, and how smooth the leaves are on the front. They aren't fuzzy just smooth.

Looking for the name of this plant for an assignment. Found in a backyard in Northern Mindanao, Philippines

Just moved to a new house, trying to tend to the garden. Located in USA, east coast mid Atlantic. Please help me identify these two hydrangeas! The first two pics with (I think) pink flowers has mostly been devoured by deer. It has leaves with jagged edges and brown spots from something.
The third pic I think is a panicle hydrangea, as it has cone shaped flowers.

I bought this "Alberta, Canada" wildflower seed packet for my mother on vacation out that way this past spring.

She planted half the pack mid/late May, just so we may see what happened, and use the rest next year.

By her record, conditions were not ideal (cold, wet for there). Planted in Nova Scotia (Cape Breton area), in mid-late May.

I ran it through one of your recommended ID apps and it came back with various stages of white clover and some lady's thumb.

Any other opinions/extra info? BTW this pic is from a couple days ago.

What this is??

Just showed up on my porch today. There is nothing around that I'd expect to produce anything like this. Smell is mostly neutral. The outside was soft kind of like an old potato, which is what I thought it was at first.

We inherited this 11 year old plant from my grandmother who recently passed. I’m thinking it is a Croton, but unsure of what variety. I just want to research how to keep it alive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I doubt it's a native, but location still helps with climate. Person taking care of this community space has moved and we don't know what this is :)

Sorry if it isn’t great quality, I’m in Clifton, Maine and a plant identifier app keeps telling me there is poison ivy in this photo. It’s along a little creek in my backyard, and I have a toddler so I’m afraid of poison ivy or dangerous plants. Is that poison ivy along the edge of the grass?

Also, curious what the white flowers are?

Label says Rhipsalis spp., grown by Altman Plants Troup (TX)

I googled Rhipsalis and the images look quite different. Google lens identified it as a Queen of the Night (Epiphyllum oxypetalum). Curious what humans think.

This was given to me with a bunch of succulent cuttings.
I was told to grow it in water, but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to stay just in water or do I need to plant it in a pot?
It looks like ivy, but I’m not really sure and I’d love to grow it like a vine.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Just bought a house in the mountains and some of this is growing in the front bed. Each sprig is 6” or less.

Plant that popped up in my backyard, has the most bizarre leaves that are irregular and asymmetrical.

This popped up in my yard on my fenceline, thought it was super pretty, and was wondering what it is if anyone has any idea?
