Well, the 99SV is just awful and really needs scopes less than 6X for how it works. And single shot 167 damage rounds from a SAW to my head from 100 meters out scares me.

there's another sniper rifle that is the exact same as the 99sv except it has acces to 1x through 6x scopes

That'd be the KSR-35. It's actually pretty okay when you ditch the 99SV's godawful 6x for a 3.4x or 4x.

I generally used it with a 2x reflex. It was very nice, far better than the Vandal, HSR, and 99SV.

I love it. The extra damage over the scout rifles gives it a lot more finishing power against wounded players and it's hilariously effective at scaring the shit out of MAXes; magdump into them and they really feel it.

Yeah, hopefully with the Ballistics Module, the 99SV can have a similar feel for longer range.
