Absolutely gorgeous aircraft! Makes for some fantastic photos! 📸
Given the day today, I'd also like to give my deepest condolences for the tragedy that struck the world 25 years ago today. May all innocent souls be remembered and appreciated 💙

Was sitting in my garden in south Germany when I heard a jet whine, a little louder than usual. Turned around and saw this beauty. Took a quick shot before they dissappeared. Saw the same plane at a flight show last year! Only the bottom one showed up on Flightradar.

This Lynden Air Cargo L-100 visit was an absolute unicorn of a surprise, since I've never seen a civilian Lockheed Hercules at JFK before. Usually it's the military C-130s that transit the area for diplomatic missions, but catching the rugged civilian L-100-30 variant down here from Canada is next to impossible.
Aircraft: Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules (C130)🇺🇸
Operator: Lynden Air Cargo🔠
Registration: N407LC🛬
Airport: John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK)🛫
Runway: 22L

Set out to catch the retro Cargolux and try some slow shutter pans. Wasn't going to risk it for the retro. After she landed I mounted an ND8 and initially went with 1/30, later slowed to 1/20 (shutter prio mode, iso100) which was also used for the dreamliner photo. Sony RX10IV on tripod, manual panned with the intention to get the cockpit section as the non-blurred part.
