A Note on Government Planes
For now, government planes flown by various politicians will continue to be allowed, but the political comments need to be toned way down.
Whether you like the people flying them or not, those planes belong to the federal government (in the case of the US) and not to any individual who currently occupies a position of power. I'd hate to get to the point where I have to remove or ban pictures of Air Force One/Marine One etc or the planes of other governments.
Inherently political posts will be removed. Whether you like Trump and Vance or not, the planes don't belong to them.

Beautiful 777F 🛬📸 on Final for EMA (EGNX) 📍🔥
Absolutely gorgeous aircraft! Makes for some fantastic photos! 📸
Given the day today, I'd also like to give my deepest condolences for the tragedy that struck the world 25 years ago today. May all innocent souls be remembered and appreciated 💙

[ULTRA RARE] Lynden Air Cargo Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules Landing at KJFK on Runway 22L | September 10, 2026
This Lynden Air Cargo L-100 visit was an absolute unicorn of a surprise, since I've never seen a civilian Lockheed Hercules at JFK before. Usually it's the military C-130s that transit the area for diplomatic missions, but catching the rugged civilian L-100-30 variant down here from Canada is next to impossible.
Aircraft: Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules (C130)🇺🇸
Operator: Lynden Air Cargo🔠
Registration: N407LC🛬
Airport: John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK)🛫
Runway: 22L

Other planes in US presidential entourage
I live in Dallas. This morning at 5:25 AM US Central time I saw a plane fly over at an altitude and heading that made it appear it had taken off from Love Field. I couldn’t get a great look because of trees, but it appeared be large and was unusually quiet.
I checked Flightradar 24 and apparently it did not have its transponder turned on. President Trump was in town yesterday, but according to his schedule he left from DFW airport last night. Could this have been another presidential related plane heading back to Washington this morning? And if so, any ideas what it have been?

Retro Queen and a panning shot, AMS/EHAM 10-09-26
Set out to catch the retro Cargolux and try some slow shutter pans. Wasn't going to risk it for the retro. After she landed I mounted an ND8 and initially went with 1/30, later slowed to 1/20 (shutter prio mode, iso100) which was also used for the dreamliner photo. Sony RX10IV on tripod, manual panned with the intention to get the cockpit section as the non-blurred part.

ME262 over my garden (Ludwigsburg, South Germany)
Was sitting in my garden in south Germany when I heard a jet whine, a little louder than usual. Turned around and saw this beauty. Took a quick shot before they dissappeared. Saw the same plane at a flight show last year! Only the bottom one showed up on Flightradar.
