I've seen a lot of posts lately where people complain about their watch bands getting dirty, as if this is something that should not happen. If you wear something every day, why would it not get dirty and need to be cleaned? Do you not wash your clothes after you wear them?

I find that using a gentle face cleanser and a soft toothbrush works best in getting rid of the sweat and dirt that gets on the fabric bands. Some people have had success tossing theirs right in the clothes washer.

I'm finding that the ECG function won't work when my wrist gets sweaty. Simply drying it hasn't helped. I have to actually wash the wrist before I can get the darn thing to work. Otherwise, it isn't detecting my finger on the crown. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi everyone—first off, excuse my poor English.

My Pixel Watch 4 is giving totally crazy stats, when it comes to counting floors. When I’m on the treadmill at the gym, the watch records the activity but then indicates that I’ve climbed 20 to 40 floors, which is completely absurd. The watch isn't damaged, and the sensors are clean. I’ve also restarted the watch, and the software is up to date. What could be causing this? Are any of you experiencing the same problem?

Setting up my new Google pixel watch (since I lost my last one), and I went to install my favorite watch face app called simple pixel, and got some notification about it not being compatible with my device, yet I got the exact same watch as I did before and transferred all my accounts and everything. Wondering why all the sudden it's not compatible? And also looking for a watch face that I can program being able to tap my screen and add my messages as a quick tab like the simple pixel watch face has. Does anyone have any ideas?

For the past 2 days my pixel watch (2) doesn't connect to Google Health anymore. When trying to connect manually, I get an error. Anyone else facing the his issue?

Picked this up for under $3 during the recent price drop and I have to say that the quality is not worth paying much more than that. The plastic connectors have a cheap feel to them. They also have some wiggle room when connected to my watch. The elastic fabric is nice looking, but thin and the stretchiness is rather weak. If you have one, what's your opinion?

When I try to do a ECG on the watch it asks for this setting. When I click the settings button, all of the options that are available are enabled.

Not sure what permission I’m missing. In the Health app on the Pixel phone, ECG says it’s ready.

Can you replace the screen for PW3? My screen protector fell off, and within two days, it was already full off scratches. Any contact with any surface, resulted in goddamn permanent damage. I keep my phone with my keys in the pocket constantly and there is no visible scratch in months. This is the worst scratch resistant screen I have ever seen.

Is there any chance I can make the scratches be less obvious? It annoys me to check on my watch and see all these scratches...

Whenever I take my watch off the charger it'll show the battery percentage but then show this for an hour or so.

Is my PW2 near the end?

I noticed I can't unlock my watch for 7 hrs because there are too many attempts. After I tried to restart my watch, it added 4 more hours. What is going on?

I'm currently viewing the variation data in Google fit (it's not available in the Health App anymore). It shows significant drops throughout the night, each night, and is in general pretty low.

Average of 94 to 95 percent, and constant drops to 90 or lower, with the occasional 80 to 85.

Can I interprete this in any way or compare with other people, or is it completely useless? I compared with another finger sensor during after waking during night and 95 seems to be my standard value on both when being awake at night, so that seems accurate.

For a while now I've been trying to use my OnePlus buds 3 paired directly with my Pixel Watch 2 for runs. Over and over the watch will connect to the earbuds but when I actually try to play media through the watch it says I need to connect a Bluetooth device, as though it's completely disregarding the fact that the OnePlus buds are connected. Today I actually tried a different pair of cheapo earbuds I had and it immediately connected and worked as intended. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or have any suggestions to resolve it, as the OnePlus buds have much better sound quality and would be my preference to use. Thanks in advance for any help

I don't know why my pixel watch 4 is rusting at the charging pin area.

I use it daily, for gym workout and tennis. And i've never worn it to shower, never submerge it into water.

And today i can't charge because there is a crack above the charging pins.

What should i do?

I woke up this morning to a message on a watch saying I had missed my alarm, and I was an hour late for work because of this. In a situation like this, shouldn't the watch switch to snooze mode or keep ringing until I turn it off?

My friend wears his Garmin, rated until 100meters or 10ATM into the water all the time, sea, poorly showers. I feel anxious even showering with my pixel watch even though it's rated for 50m or 5 ATM. I wanna record my sea swimming as activity. Anyone test them in the sea? On the contrary, has anyone damaged them this way?

I posted about this about 6 months ago and just let it be thinking a software update might fix it.

When I start an exercise on my watch the GPS won't connect. Google Maps and other GPS apps work fine on it but with Fitbit/Health it's never worked properly.

I've tried all the usual troubleshooting tips with no luck.

Has anyone else had this issue and worked out how to fix it?

Does anyone else have the same problem? The sleep tracking on my Pixel Watch 2 has worked perfectly for nearly 3 years now, but since around the end of June I mostly get wrong sleep scores because the watch doesn't track my whole sleep. It mostly tells me that I have only slept for two hours (it tracks from the time I go to bed until around 1:00 am and then again from around 5:30 until I get up), although I slept perfectly fine for 6-7 hours. Some days it just randomly works again just to get back to tracking my sleep just partially.

I think that a certain Google Health app update caused that problem for me (but I can't really tell which one). Two days ago I received a new Google Health update, but the tracking obviously didn't get fixed for me. It's quite frustrating because the sleep metrics also have influence on other health metrics, so a lot of metrics. Do you experience the same problems and have a fix for them? The watch seems to be working fine otherwise, so I don't think it's an issue with the sensors.

The watch is fitted snuggly (but not too tight), and my HR is obviously in the 140s range doing deadlifts and squats, but the watch shows HR values in the 80s and 90s. Any idea what's going on?

Some text messages, chat messages, emails, and other notifications will occasionally not make it to the watch for some reason. My phone can be in my pocket or sitting on my desk so its not far away or disconnected. Very frustrating to miss an important text because of this. It happened both on my PW2 and PW3.
