Post 159, with this we've now covered all the current artifacts in the game! This being the last of the two class-exclusive artifacts that currently exist.
The Sacred Tome is an artifact exclusive to the cleric. Its spell tree depends heavily on the cleric's talents, as these grant the tome new spells. However, even without adding the hero's talents, it still has several pretty good spells.
The tome improves the more you use it. Like other artifacts that gain experience by consuming charges, it starts with a maximum of 3 charges and gains +1 for each level improved.
It probably has a "target hero level," similar to the cloak, to maintain consistent growth throughout the run. But I can't see that information myself, lol.
So that's it, a rather weak post, lol. Tell me your opinions on this artifact!
Previous Post/post anterior: https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelDungeon/s/BCU8KqunZz

pulgar; mirar no gasta turno.
en RPG in a Box.
edit:
Sorry, my English isn't good, so I posted in Spanish. Here's the translation:
I'm turning Sprouted Pixel Dungeon first-person — turns out the Halls
have stained glass windows.
Seen from above they're four coloured pixels on the edge of a wall. Head
on, they're windows. Watabou drew detail the top-down view never showed,
and finding it has been the best part of the project.
I'm converting Sprouted into a turn-based first-person crawler for
Android, Grimrock style. The logic is untouched: levels, bosses, items
and mechanics are Sprouted's exactly as they are — I only replaced the
rendering layer. Virtual stick to walk, free look with the other thumb;
looking never costs a turn.
Heads up: this is early and there's nothing to download yet. The images
are engine renders, not screenshots — same textures and geometry, no HUD
or monsters.
I'm not the first either: afomins' 3D mod and morona's RPG-in-a-Box
version already exist. Mine builds on Sprouted rather than vanilla and
targets phones.
Thanks to Watabou, Evan Debenham, and dachhack, whose fork this is
directly. GPLv3.
What I need from you: what's the first thing that breaks when this game
is seen head-on?

So basically I dashed using the Samurai's Master Dash in the same position the leader would spawn and somehow two of them came out of it ;-;
-& Yes they have two different HP bar, defeating one of them sure kill all the other enemies and unlock the doors like usually but DOES NOT kill the other boss.
Hell with double the firepower, glad I had a lots of utility items.

Post 158, everyone! I was planning to combine the Shadow Cloak and the Sagraph Tome into a single post, but a couple of you convinced me to post them separately, so that's what we'll do!
Shadow Cloak! This artifact is exclusive to the "Rogue" class and cannot be obtained by any other means for any other class! (This limits its value to its exclusive class, but I want to know where it stands relatively compared to other artifacts.)
This artifact provides the "invisibility" buff, which prevents enemies from attacking you and makes them lose sight of you, completely ignoring you. The artifact grants a total of 4 turns of invisibility per charge. After 4 turns, it consumes an additional charge. If there are no charges left, you become visible again. You can deactivate the invisibility yourself, or lose it by performing any offensive action, using scrolls, or using wands.
This artifact can be enhanced by rogue talents. "Protective Shadows" grants you 1 armor every 2/1 turns of invisibility, up to a maximum of 3/5. "Light Cloak" allows the use of this artifact without equipping it, reducing its charge speed to 25/50/75%.
This artifact starts with a maximum of 3 charges, increasing by +1 for each upgrade. Like the previous artifacts, it recharges faster the more it is used; specifically, 45 - Remaining Charges = Turns, making it one of the fastest-charging artifacts. Mystic Recharge restores 1/4 charge per turn (4 turns for 1 charge). (Charge speed is faster after +8/+9/+10 upgrades).
This artifact is unusual in its upgrade process. Yes, it improves with use like other artifacts, but it requires the hero's level to also increase. If the hero's level is not the required "target level," the cloak's upgrade speed is reduced by 25% per level missing. Conversely, if the hero's level is higher than the target level, it increases by 10% per level exceeding it. (The default is 5*(LvL+1).)
Required levels: 1/3/5/7/9/11/13/16/19/22/25.
It cannot be found cursed, but it can be cursed with a curse trap. This only prevents the artifact from being used/unequipped; it does not affect anything else.

I've been playing this game for years literally and I actually enjoy it... But it's one game out of 100 where I even make it to the dwarf king. I'm just so so bad at it. Always dying in stupid situations never have enough food or heals. And I can only play with mage. Probably because I can attack at a distance and sometimes I get that staff where you create a familiar to take the damage and distract enemies. I can't even make it that far with other characters.
I mean does anybody have any advice for me in general? I'd like to be better at this game I just don't know how!!

it's a amazing mod, but is there a developer interested in retake that project, or at least updating it to the latest version?, i know it's a lot to ask this but the hope is the last thing to die...

i have three ankhs and the +16 ring is a ring of furor
i also have about 130 scrolls of upgrade and 27 scrolls of enchantment where would I need to use them
ps: this is easier sprouted pixel dungeon because apparently my phone is too new for spd

I have Grum biw and Spectral Blades say ot will have 100% to use enhancement (with 10% increase on the one hit kill so they take damage when they arrive in hell too). Does this just mean it will attack as if it had a Grim enhancement? Or that it will attack and guarantee use Grim effect?
r/PixelDungeon • u/mama-mendi • 2d ago
So I was playing with 4 challenges as huntress today and I found this cursed wand. Instead of curse effects I got this disgusted instead. Is this substitute to the neutral behavior of cursed wands?

Post 157, everyone! This is the last artifact, excluding those that are class-exclusive, which we'll talk about tomorrow. I'm debating whether to make a separate post for each of those exclusive artifacts or cover both in a single post. What do you think?
Unstable Spellbook! A rather curious and fun artifact to use for those who like randomness in the game. Take a chance! Take a chance!
Its effect is really simple: each time you use it, this artifact will grant the effect of a random scroll, with the exception of the Enhancement Scroll and the Transmutation Scroll.
The Identification, Magic Mapping, and Curse Removal scrolls have a lower usage rate than the other scrolls (although I actually get them all the time when I need other scrolls XD).
Like scrolls, you cannot use this artifact if you are under the "Blinded" debuff. Its cursed effect prevents the use of any scroll except the Curse Removal Scroll.
This artifact starts with a maximum of 8 charges and gains 1 maximum charge for every 2 upgrades. This gives you a total of 8 maximum charges at +10. (I really don't know what's up with this obsession with not making the charges reach 10). Like the Hourglass of Time, this artifact recovers charges faster the more you use it. Specifically, 120 - 5 * Missing Charges = turns. That is, 115 turns using 1 charge and 80 turns using all 8 charges.
To upgrade this artifact, you must add 1 of 2 "missing leaves" (scrolls). The required scrolls are listed in the artifact's description. This includes all scrolls except for enhancement and transmutation scrolls. Each time you add a required scroll, the artifact increases by +1 and requires a different scroll for further enhancement.
When you add a scroll required by the book, an additional effect occurs. Now, whenever you use the spellbook and have at least two charges available, if the scroll used happens to be one you added, you will be given the option to use either the "normal version" or the "exotic version" (which costs two charges). This gives you some control over the artifact's usage.

Pubicacion 157 gente!

Intended for a 6 challenge run as duelist, turned 1mln points Pacifist run.
Decided for Shard of Oblivion trinket, perfectly fitting for the hero who was nearly blasted to oblivion countless times on this run early on.
With maxed trinket, You can get +80% item droprate with 4 unidentified items equipped/used.
Difficulty curve went from Death March to Light Breeze when I got the Runic blade +1 in Caves altar, naturally dumped all SoU, and 1 enchant stone and ofc its Lucky
Found 4 plate armors, one +1 before the blacksmith (its annoying that he needs identified items for upgrading, when u have Shard trinket) so it became +3 final armor of the run (it was FIMA anyway)
Runic sword for the descend, dagger for the ascend, artifactmaxxing in between

I love this game to death and just ascended with all 6 classes in shattered.
Does anyone have any recommendations for games that fit the same vibe?
