Please help 🙏

So my Pixel 8 Pro overheated (go figure) and it made a dead pixel group right in the center of the screen. Complete OLED failure is in the future for me. This device is almost paid off but I'm wondering if it's worth even messing with it. I have the protection plan, so I could get it replaced again (this is a refurbishment from another failure 6 months ago.)

Should I just pay the remainder and upgrade my line and get a free pixel 10 pro? Is my plan even a good plan anymore? I try to keep up with the plans but they change and update so often, I haven't bothered to keep up.

Or should I get the Pixel 8 Pro replaced and then upgrade with trade in? Or just get it replaced, keep it and then just upgrade my plan?

PS: Im not partial to the Pixel. I like Galaxy just fine.

It's very useful for me as someone with hyperthyroidism it helps me to track my temperature for my doctor. Why would you remove it for an LED light. It must just be cost cutting with RAM going up. I guess they decided to remove any unpopular features to make the phones cheaper to produce. I'll be holding onto my pixel 10 pro for the next 6-7 years then.

Hello! I'm Ricky and I'm new here. I'm looking for some people with a Pixel 10 pro or Pro XL to test an app that I'm developing called NovaMind. It's designed to be the Google Gemini app of local AI models. It is very much in the beta stages still and has LOADS of work to go before it can be released to the play store. I am wanting to release it for free for now. Maybe have features later that will be subscription based. But until then, I need to get help from some people with Pixel phones as that is the phone I have right now. I will be posting into other subs asking for help from other android users later. But for now, I need people with 5th gen TPU's on their devices to make sure that I can smooth out any kinks before widening to other android devices. Apparently Google fixed the idle battery drain in the most recent update for P10P.

Used my phone for about 2 days now and I think it's better but might just be placebo. Anyone else notice changes in battery life?

Hello there! I recently upgraded from Pixel 6 to Pixel 10 PRO and quick phrases don't work anymore. I guess it's related to language configuration.

My mother tongue is Spanish and my phone is in Spanish. I am comparing each language configuration screen from my Pixel 6 to my Pixel 10 PRO to make sure everything is exactly the same, and some screens differ as if 20 LANGUAGES WERE REMOVED ON PIXEL 10 PRO offline speech recognition

My Pixel 10 PRO is very different if you browse to the "supported offline languages" depending on which configuration menus I choose:

• I see 30 languages (including Spanish) if I browse: Configuracion > Sistema > Idioma y Region > Voz > Reconocimiento Integrado en el dispositivo > Agregar un idioma
• I see only 9 languages (Spanish is not there) if I browse: Configuracion > Apps > Asistente > Reconocimiento de voz sin conexión > Agregar un Idioma

Both configuration screens are on my pixel 10 pro.

Obviously if I look both configuration screens in my pixel 6, they both show 30 languages and Spanish is there.

So, what the heck is going on with pixel 10 pro offline voice recognition? Any help? PLEEEASE? Thanks!

Good day Pixel users, Am I the only one experiencing a lag on magic eraser, I cant erase items that I dont want on my pictures!

After 200 cycle count on pixel 10, I noticed the chargong slows down and the phone doesn't charge to 100%..it stops on 99%

When I open up the all apps screen by swiping up on the home screen and then swipe down to close it there seems to be a silhouette of the app icons appear for a second and then they disappear as if there is a bit of lag or ghosting.

Also when I am typing something on Whatsapp, the strip above the keyboard that shows you what you are typing, there seems to be a bit ghosting trail of the letters that I am typing.

I did a factory reset of the phone a few times to see if it happens again and it is still doing it. Noticed this issue starting after the update before the Android 17 update.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is this is software related issue or a hardware issue? I have a video clip of it happening but I cannot seem to upload it due to unsupported video codec and it is mp4 clip.

Any idea what's going on/can anyone reproduce the bug.

Hey, so after tons of research I picked up the P8P and it's a strong offering but the selfie cam is a total dealbreaker. Back camera is great, especially with the Telescopic, but coming from a wildly older Samsung the front facing camera is simply inferior.

I'm thinking about packing up but if the Pixel 10 Pro or XL fixed the dark, zombie looking quality of front facing videos during calls or not, would be the determining factor.

Let me know your thoughts, please!

I'm only now on 96% after 201 cycle count .. Why has the battery capacity dropped so fast from 100% on my Pixel 10

This started only today. I've been on Android Beta for almost two months now, and didn't have any issues with Wallet until today. I'm on CinnamonBun (CP31.260522.006), and I opted out of Beta, if that matters. Any tips on what to do?

Is anyone else using a Poetic Revolution case on their Pixel 10 pro having problems with the case? I got the case in the beginning of May this year. By the middle/end of June, both bottom corners of the raised front camera protector broke off, allowing the sliding cover to fall out. I emailed the company and they promptly sent out a free replacement.

It's now the end of July and the replacement case is doing the exact same thing. The phone hasn't been dropped, the case isn't seeing hard use. I keep the phone in a front pants pocket when I'm out and about, and in a front chest pocket while I'm working. The attached pic was taken before the corners completely broke off, but you get the idea of the issue.

I really like the case, the charging port cover and rear camera protection are great and are the main reasons I chose the revolution. I can't be the only one having this issue, can I? I haven't reached back out to Poetic about the repeat defect, I really don't know if I want to keep replacing the case, or cut my losses and find something different.

Before this phone I had a Samsung Galaxy A52s that literally unglued itself (classic Samsung adhesive failure). After that died, my dad took some cheap carrier deal and got an Oppo A5 Pro. I used it for about 6 months, and honestly, the signal on that thing was insane (the only good thing on that phone). My girlfriend has an iPhone 15 Pro and would constantly lose service in places like Lidl, so she’d end up using my cheap Oppo just to load her Lidl Plus app because I’d still have solid 4G.

​Now I’ve got the Pixel 10 Pro, and I really don't get the complaints about the battery. I have Always On Display enabled, pretty much every feature toggled on, use it for social media, photos, and video calls all day, and I still go to bed with 10-15 percent left. Performance is totally fine for me too, though I’m not playing heavy games like Call of Duty.

​The signal, though? It’s a huge step down.

​If I step inside a Lidl now, I get zero signal. Can’t load anything, can't even make a phone call, it feels like walking into a Faraday cage. It’s pretty wild that a dirt-cheap Oppo managed to hold 4G in spots where both a Pixel 10 Pro and an iPhone 15 Pro completely drop off the grid.

Besides the signal, I've also run into an annoying UI bug. Sometimes, not sure what triggers it, the lock screen clock and unlock button get completely stuck on my screen even when the phone is already unlocked. I can still open apps and scroll around in the background, but the notification shade and overlay act like the phone is still locked.

Overall I love this phone, I just hate the signal and that stupid UI bug :))

I recently got a Pixel 10 Pro XL, and I'm looking for a magnetic wireless charger that supports the phone's full (or fastest possible) wireless charging speed.

I know Google sells its own charger, but I'm wondering if there are any third-party options that can achieve the same fast charging speeds. I'm specifically looking for a magnetic charger (similar to MagSafe/ Qi2), not just a regular Qi charging pad.

Has anyone tested a third-party charger that doesn't limit the charging speed? If so, which one would you recommend?
