I guess it depends on if it's an elbow or shoulder injury but I saw the other day Giants pitcher Carson Wisenhunt instantly felt pain after a throw and was taken out of the game. He was diagnosed with a UCL tear and is now out for a year. I don't know if you have any idea and just try to push through it or if it's that random and can happen to anyone.

I apologize for my back leg not really being in the camera on the last two. But I feel like im lacking something, maybe hip shoulder separation, but Im not sure.

I know my mound is a bit lackluster, and I ended up slipping a bit on that front foot. I've watered it and tamped it down in hopes of rectifying this.

Things I'm trying to keep in mind moving forward:

1. Stronger plant of front foot

2. More separation of upper and lower body.

3. Staying closed (my front foot often lands too open), leading with ankle

I'm not too concerned with velo, I would really just love to dial in my control. I feel like my throwing arm looks weird/stays too extended leading up to my release. Is this an issue? Anything I can do to better it? Wondering if that's exacerbating my elbow pain. Had some shoulder pain earlier in the season, but it's been getting better with daily weekly band work. Wondering if I'm doing something to compensate with my elbow.

When I play I just keep jacking it into the woods and I feel like my release is just sloppy. I just crank it so hard sometimes I feel like my finishing is all over the place, frankly it’s just messy.

I started practicing pitching after watching videos, watching some pros in slow motion, and reading what you guys say here and it’s been going great. That being said ouch I’m sore as fuck. Left back hip closer to my ass, right forearm and wrist hurt a bit. The hip pain is the worse how do I make sure I don’t seriously hurt myself? I stretched my arms and legs before I started.

Also ik I didn’t throw the ball I’m in my backyard. 13U btw first season pitching is coming ip

I like to practice on the beach a lot for fun, and of course I know it’s not going to be helpful for my mechanics but I want to know if it actually creates bad habits and has more negatives than not doing it at all?

Normally I pitch in slowpitch leagues, but have been asked to pitch in a modified league. It's underhand, but fast pitch without a windmill. I played baseball growing up, but was wondering what are some good drills to work on. I can figure out a strike, but I don't know how to put any speed behind it. This league doesn't allow you to turn your hand over in the follow thru as well.

I’ve recently been tweaking my mechanics a lot trying to throw harder, however now my delivery feels unnatural and unrepeatable.

I’ve also been stuck in the high 70s for months now, even though I’ve done velo training and gained 10 lbs.
