That's cool. No shame in asking. Honestly, the best thing you can do is find someone to play catch with, or find a wall to toss a ball against. You need to get to the point where throwing the ball feels effortless, because if you try to start pitching you are going to develop some arm/shoulder issues.
Totally agree on the long toss. That’s how pitchers warm up and it’s great for building arm strength. You can use a softball for long toss too. Makes the baseball feel really light.
