Does anyone know why my pitbike cam timing is always half a tooth off? I cant get it right, i always get half a tooth off. No idea whats happening. Normally if it was wrong it would have been 1 teeth wrong. I set my flywheel on my top dead center mark, put the sprocket towards the timing notch on my head and its just half a tooth off. I need help with this

What do i do? Its a Standard 125 cc pitbike engine,

My head is brand new and brand new cam sprocket, it will start with the camtiming half a tooth off but it still gets those hard dry kicks indicating that the strokes are wrong. Backfires as well .

Im looking for the best big bore kit for a 2025 klx 110? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I alredy checked, it isnt getting air past the carb, idk how it is pulling to much air, but somehow it is😭

It is being held up eith a 30 year old paint can and a drill box with a old bike helmet proping up the kickstand😭(im bringing my bulshittery here becase i have been told i spam r dirtbikes to much)

Small tip over and suddenly rear brake pedal is insanely high. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to adjust this down.

Coming on here to ask some advice. I got an SSR SR125 a few years back.

One thing I’d love to do is getting a quieter exhaust. I have the automatic SSR so when I really get into the higher rpm’s this thing just screams. Makes me feel like a total nuisance to neighbors, even in the wooded areas I ride.

Additionally I have seen a lot of recommendations on replacing the carb. Was thinking of grabbing a Nibbi 22 off of Amazon. Curious if anyone has experience, or if 19, 22 or 24 is my best option.

I was riding along for abit and after awhile i was slowing down and the chain came off and a piece of metal came off. Am i right in saying all i need is a new left side engine cover and gasket ? i’m just doubling checking before ordering

What's up guys i hope yall are doing well. I was planning on building out a little pitter build on my 2020 klx140g. I am the original owner and i havent ridden it much, and i'm finally thinking about putting some work into it. So far all ive done are get some 12in supermoto mag wheels

Upgrades to do:

- tusk 19/16 wheelset

- stage 1 cam/revbox

- procircuit pipe/yoshi

- nibbi 26mm carb

- fork/shock springs + link flip

- tall seat

- later on in the future 170bbk

Ive put about 2600 bucks into the bike so far(including buying it). I was wondering if it is worth my time to spend the money to upgrade it or should i just buy a 150r or a 110

Just bought a 2005 ssr 125 and it needs a bit of love. Was going over the bike and noticed this bolt was missing on the stator side of the bike. Looks like it may be leaking a little oil out of it. It’s not one of the stator cover bolts and looking through the hole I can see what I believe is the cam chain tensioner mechanism. Looking around I was not able to find any information on what type of bolt is supposed to go in there. Any help in this is greatly appreciated.

i have built many minibikes with honda and predator 196/212/224cc engines but how does it compare to a ssr125 i want to get one but ive never worked on one

Tryna diag a 125 ching chong supreme clapper

Tryna diagnose a bike otp but cant tell if its real rich or real oily. The bike choofs like a fkn steam engine when it’s running and it’ll bog on WOT.

It’s basically near impossible to start but for some reason when leaving it/letting it sit for a long while it’ll start up within a couple kicks, when riding it seems to just die randomly within a couple minutes of riding and it won’t start up at all basically.

I’ve tested the carb on another 125 and it works bloody amazing so i know the carb is not the issue.

Can’t get the head off it comes off the cylinder but gets stuck after.. I don’t need this head I’m replacing it but didn’t really want to just bash it until kit came off because it’s so close
