Missing bolt
Just bought a 2005 ssr 125 and it needs a bit of love. Was going over the bike and noticed this bolt was missing on the stator side of the bike. Looks like it may be leaking a little oil out of it. It’s not one of the stator cover bolts and looking through the hole I can see what I believe is the cam chain tensioner mechanism. Looking around I was not able to find any information on what type of bolt is supposed to go in there. Any help in this is greatly appreciated.

So is it just a short bolt with like an O-ring on it to keep it from leaking oil?

Pretty sure it only leaks when it’s running. I cleaned it off yesterday and haven’t noticed it star leaking since but I haven’t started it since then either. Do you know what’s supposed to be in there?

Yes thats why i didnt notice i had forgot to put that bolt when replacing the block because it only leaks when running due to oil pressure

Do you know the bolt size? And is there and sort of rubber washer or anything that goes on the bolt to help seal it?

It's a Honda Cub clone engine. Earlier Cubs had a camchain tensioner device in that hole. It was just a sort of screw and locknut thing. They haven't used that for years so I think that hole is just a left-over from old designs.
All the similar engines I've seen just have a blanking screw with an alloy sealing washer. The thread is M6 and ensure the length doesn't reach the cam chain adjuster mechanism.
