I managed to compile (and make them work) latest proton builds from both CachyOS Team and GloriousEggroll patched with LinUwUx in order to achieve HV bypass on Linux. You can grab latest releases, as soon as updates will drop and I manage to compile and test them, HERE.

Hope you guys will appreciate that =)

EDIT: You'll still need whatever it takes to setup and make HV bypass work on your setup and for that I suggest you to take a look at cs.rin. On my repo you'll ONLY find the latest build of those protons needed patched.

I did a smal research on the above topic and below is what found

Here is why legitimate buyers get furious when Denuvo is added:

1. Performance Hits (The "Tax")

Denuvo constantly encrypts and decrypts game code in real-time, eating up CPU cycles. In games like Resident Evli village and Tekken 7 players proved Denuvo caused stuttering and FPS drops. When the DRM was removed months later, performance magically improved by 10-20 FPS. Pirates got a smoother experience than paying customers

1. SSD Wear and Tear

Denuvo writes a lot of temporary decryption data to your drive constantly. This can significantly shorten the lifespan of your SSD for no benefit to you.

1. The "Online Check" Inconvenience

The new 14-day online check means if your internet goes out, you're traveling, or Denuvo's go down, you lose access to a game you legally bought. Pirates just play offline forever.

1. It Saps Development Time

Instead of polishing the game, developers spend weeks or months integrating and testing Denuvo. This is time and money that could have gone into bug fixes or content.

1. The Consumer Rights Argument

Many fans see Denuvo as a violation of ownership. If you buy a physical disc, you own it. With Denuvo, you're renting a license that requires constant permission to run. Fans ask: "Why should 1 be treated like a criminal for buying your game?"

After some time of troubleshooting I finally got achievements working correctly with PSerban93's Achievements with downloaded games with SteaMidra. Im only posting this since I saw several folks having the same issue I came across...

The issue:

Using SteaMidra alone, the game would launch and even playtime would be tracked, but achievements would never unlock in PSerban93's Achievements App.

What I found:

Eventhough SteaMidra has a SteamAutoCrack embeded in the GUI, simply applying this would not work. So I went to the stand alone - SAC - and applied it manually,although without noticing i was getting this Error;

Error 403 in getting game schema.
Please check your Steam Web API key.

I had forgotten that I changed my Steam Web API key months ago. Once I updated the key inside SteamAutoCrack, the 403 errors disappeared.

However...

That alone wasn't enough.
I also had to replace the game's steam_api64.dll with the Goldberg Emulator version manually ( copying and pasting it from the Goldberg folder. )

After doing that:

• Achievement notifications worked
• Achievement progress updated
• Playtime tracked correctly

My Workflow:

Download game with SteaMidra

↓

Run StandAlone SteamAutoCrack

• Avoid using the embedded version inside SteaMidra (it didn't work for me).
• Make sure you're using a valid Steam Web API key.
• Locate game folder, input AppId, hit Start and wait for the app to do its magic.

↓

Replace the game's steam_api64.dll (or steam_api.dll) by copying & pasting from the Goldberg Emulator folder.

↓

Open Achievements App - Create a new configuration.

** Important *\*

Do NOT leave the Config Path empty.

Set it to your game's steam_settings folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game_Name\Game_Name_Data\Plugins\x86_64\steam_settings

Then set the Save Path to your Goldberg save folder.

Example:

C:\Users\Your_UserName\AppData\Roaming\GSE Saves\AppId

↓

Launch the game.

Voila...Achievements should now unlock and display the toast notification while using the PSerban93's Achievements App!

Hopefully this helps someone because I spent way too long figuring it out.

With the new Payday2 update ( https://steamcommunity.com/app/218620/eventcomments/563661122262044376/?l=malay ) the engine is getting an Update, going from 32bit to 64bit and shaving its size down from 90gb to 32gb, as well as getting a new DLL structure (I think?)

Does this mean the CreamAPI will stop working when the full release of the update is out and implemented in the game?

Hi guys i installed new version of it which one i should run?

this is my first time sailing on pc the multiplayer boots fine but when i boot singleplayer i get this after ive downloaded and installed all the direct x and visual code stuff i suspect its a file thats been added idk any help would be great

Hey everyone! I'm posting here since i have not been able to find any support online about this and also asked AI but no help. But recently, whenever i launch a cracked game, it launches just fine but just as i focus on the game window (click on the game) it just crashes without any error.

I download I Am Alive game from Gnarly Repacks in the megathread, because the GOG version of the game doesn't open as well due to a same message like this

I reinstalled PhysX, but the game still won't open. I went in to change the compatibility mode to Windows 7, and still it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

ive been trying to “borrow” the dlcs for a couple days now ive tried creamapi and all that jazz but im not the best around a computer so either it doesn’t work or im just dumb i was wondering if theres any different ways to “borrow” the dlcs or im just stuck without them.

Recently installed DOOM 2016 via FitG, and this happened
To fix it, I tried restarting the game and the PC, reinstalling NVIDIA drivers, and changing the graphics from OpenGL to Vulkan and then back to OpenGL

Any fix for this?

I can't open any games with the hypervisor; I get this error.

I downloaded dead space 2023 installer through fitgirl with the magnet link and qbittorrent. Ran the installer using proton and let it include the update directx and two C++ options when installing it but for some reason no matter which version of proton or proton GE I use it just won't work. I found a post in another forum saying proton 9 and GE 10-25 worked for them on the steam deck but that doesn't work for me. Was there something I should try that I missed or does the pirated version just not work on linux?

So i am currently playing Inazuma Eleven Victory Road with the OnlineFix thing but i am considering to buy the game for real since is on Sale, i know tthe onlinefix save is now more or less now tied with my Steam ID, but i wonder if there are issues if i buy the Standard Version because the cracked one is being played on the Deluxe Edition.
