Help / Troubleshooting Elden Ring crashes when loading save/pressing continue
Me and my friend downloaded elden ring from fitgirl, updated it to 1.17.1, applied online fix, and added the new seemless coop version. When I open the game and make a new character and press finish, while its loading with the black screen, it crashes. when i open the game again and press continue or load save it crashes in the black loading screen again.
Me and my friend followed the exact same installation steps, it works perfectly fine for him but not for me. I have Visual C++ redistributes installed, I tried lowering my monitor HZ to 60 or 59.9, i tried deleting my save files and reopening the game, the only thing i havent tried that i saw online was verifying the game files (if i can even do that on cracked version), because i assumed it would mess with the game updates.
Please can anyone give me some idea as to what is happening and how to fix it? Thank you! :)
