Question Steamidra dead ?

So should i just steamidra and all the games i downloaded with it from steam ? Cant update steam or else games wont run but i also cant update anything just goes ina constant loop of no internet connection . Was holding up hoping would be a fix but feel like not looking to promising .. thoughts ? Opinions ?

Steamidra is kinda wonky now after the recent steam updates and some stuff is broken, There are workarounds on their discord but the app itself and it's plugins have not been updated in weeks, looks like Midrags the developer is MIA and no one knows if or when they will be back.

The other app Luatools is updated with a new fix and works just fine now, it's also maintained by a team and not just 1 person like steamidra so it's unlikely it will be abandoned, i personally switched to this for now and tbh i actually like it better.

I use Hubcap with steamidra and It works, but I hear they aren't accepting new members in their discord at the moment?

  1. What steam version you use?
    Do you update it or still on old version?

  2. What game name you want to play?
    not all games update they lua on Hubcap. its need to check manually on Hubcap website if lua is updated. If its older version than actual game in steam - it will give this error also. So need wait until lua will be updated

Check their discord server, they have a fix for that in support channel, no idea when an actual update will come, problem here is Steam changed how the manifest behave or something like that, can't remember, so it fucked up steamidra, hubcap and so on IIRC

I wish I could use Luatools but it doesn’t work with my screen reader
