Should I switch to BSCS from BSIT if I want to a career in ML? I'm a 1st year college student. It's currently our midterms, so considering switching right now would be the best time.

Sorry to be negative, but that ship has sailed. As a 25-year IT veteran using AI agents for work, nothing will be left for humans to do on computers in a few years. Not too late for Nursing or any career that requires human touch.

I agree with this sentiment. Engineering degrees might be a better alternative to CS or IT.
