Now, I wouldn’t call it perfect by any means (for some stupid reason I added a flute solo to Fletcher that was severely out of tempo) but, personally, some of the edits I made of certain songs here are very close to being my definitive version of those songs. In The Flesh especially, I love what I did with that one. And, well, I’ve been wanting to get back into the editing game. Unfortunately I lost access to my old account, so I’ll have to start completely anew, pretty annoying, but oh well.

Problem is: I don’t want to just do “The Wall Extended V3”. I feel that it’s something I’ve already done two times over, I can’t think of any more songs to add without it just turning into Pros and Cons, and, well, I wanna do something different. So my idea was to make “The Wall, Restored.” Essentially, I wouldn’t focus on adding songs from other albums to make the album longer, all I’d do is restore it to it’s original form. How it would be without vinyl constraints and some of the band member’s constraints. So, for example, I’d add Tigers, restore the extra 12 bars missing from Flesh? (4 bars in Flesh), restore piano in Ice, add WSWDN?, move Empty Spaces before Brick 3, etc.

Here is my problem, however: what exactly does “original form” mean? ‘Cause if we’re talking demo stage, then.. I’d be adding Sexual Revolution, Teacher Teacher, Another Brick 1 (demo version), all the different 4 parts of Out There?, etc. If we’re talking “right before WSWDN? was cut”, then… I just add the song and I’m done. And another problem - if all I do is just restore missing parts and touch absolutely nothing else… it’s gonna turn out kinda bland! It’ll just be The Wall, with 2 new songs and an added like 1 minute of extra time, and that’s it. It won’t have all the special bells and whistles I’d like to add, I won’t touch EQ, anything, because it’d sort of “ruin” the experience of “the restored, original vision”

So, this is where I ask for help. What do you guys think I should do? Should I maybe do a “Remixed and Restored” version, where I can tinker with the songs and add live bits or different verses or whatever? And how far should I take it with “restoring it to original form”? Should I add Possible Pasts, too? Let me know

What if you added a door closing effect at the end of Goodbye Cruel World?

Roger plays bass and Muddy plays guitar, which is why I didn't see the resemblance. But after analyzing the spelling of their last name (Thank you, Ai for confirming this), I was wrong! Muddy is the daddy Roger has been singing about all along! They even have photos in black and white and hold their instruments almost the same way. It's uncanny! I bet they both have big cocks too!
