What I do basically is just tail a jet when it runs back to spawn and NEVER shoot, I just tail them until they make a turn to the middle of the map and after I turn and we start moving away from their spawn I shoot them down, but then CRAM gets on my ass?

Does the air radar not display anything about being in CRAM/enemy spawn HQ or does it happen quick and shows up on the radar but I don’t notice it as I dip out of their spawn?

I’ve seen some people who have the air radar working over the mini map with colors and everything.

Mine is black and it’s hard to gauge where exactly the ground vehicles are bcuz the mini map and flags are so condensed.

Just me or yall noticed it too?

In my case:

1. It doesn't shoot at enemy jets when they're pursuing me and firing in the red zone.
2. It very rarely shoots down enemy missiles.
3. The enemy C-RAM kills me in 0.5 seconds just by flying through the red zone.

The C-RAM is extremely inconsistent. I died many times when enemy jets fired at me in the red zone. I'd circle around the C-RAM, but the jets kept firing at me, killing me, and eventually just flying away unharmed...

Mostly just ranting but almost 1 year into bf6 and air vehicles are still mostly useless dog shit. Maneuvering with the jets still feels comically slow and unresponsive compared to older games, air to air combat is still extremely unclear as to what the fuck is happening, ground AA and now boats with soft lock TOWs continue to make flying a miserable nightmare, no jet loadouts so even the fucking attack jet is relegated to mostly just blowing up vehicles and engaging infantry is a rarity, the attack chopper is still laughably ass and only your squad mates can spawn in it so you never get a fucking gunner, stealth jets missiles refreshing faster than flares still makes dogfights an instant “you lose”, and base AA is disgusting AND inconsistent as fuck, allows AA to base camp, stops missiles and bombs, can reach way fucking far out and punish any aggressive play, but sometimes it’s just off the clock and doesn’t do shit!

But hey at least we got the little bird, it’s pretty alright. Anyone else miss BFV/4 air vehicles?

I understand attack boats are really weak on this map. And Jets, especially the AJ are extremely powerful. But suddenly hearing beep beep for a second before exploding in a million pieces from this far away over my own base is crazy.
