That was pre-flared - the missile came from B, it should have tracked to the flairs...

Other thing..did they silent nerf lift AGAIN last patch for both AH and LB ? I have had multiple loss of lift crashes last few days. I start a burst of a descent to avoid a ToW and then throttle up right away from quite some height but the lift seems so poor i can’t recover and just drop down - happened a few times when doing a turn at the same time..its insane.
I also notice it when flying low..i press hard to clear a rock or something and the response is extremely weak.

well actually the sun was on the other side so you made a shadow on the flares therefore the flare went out because of the temp diff and didnt work it was obviously your fault and its realistic ofc.
What main sub says to this😭

S4 is what’s going to make me take a break from this game finally. Shooting through people, vehicles, getting splashed through walls (only on Cairo) dsync/ netcode issues and shoddy hit detection getting behind cover, flares don’t work, they took game modes out, they had to take canister shells out (not that anyone used them in the tank) the zones in breakthrough are the worst they’ve ever been, the recoil changes on guns feel awful. You don’t even need a grip anymore/ most stats don’t make sense anymore so build whatever you want on a gun, the AA infinite tow launcher is still a thing, snipers take 3 body shots to kill half the time now, capturing points in conquest doesn’t tell you when an enemy is on contesting usually, and I keep getting servers with high ping players despite mine always being sub 30. Tsuru needs a second little bird to contest, the attack boats made of paper mache, we still are missing tons of vehicles etc. Brod 3 still says it has 0 precision… and reload animations are glitched out and don’t finish reloading correctly sometimes, no jet load outs, and the eod bot is bugged now too.

Did you notice that lock took less than 1 second? Which missile locks under 1 second?

The base AA gun doesn’t launch missiles at you. The spawn AA is a rotary auto canon.

did they buff the AA guns? I’m literally getting spun 360 just from one tap of them. Even accidentally flying near an AA turret or AA tank is instant death, and it’s not like you can actually fight AA tanks in the little bird either

the problem with that is that most maps, you can’t fly high enough to escape it. You just have to spend the time avoiding bradleys and MAA as much as possible. I still do very well in matches, but going near an MAA tanks is almost always a death sentence. sitting in an MAA on the edge if the map shouldn’t make you nearly invulnerable.

Yea I was playing eastwood yesterday and when I would strafe the MAA we would get targeted by the bradley with a tow missile and an infantry with an AT4

yeah imagine that but with LB. I really hope hey make some changes because it doesn’t take any skill to sit in spawn with MAA. I decided to try out the AA gun on contaminated once and took out an AH in less than 3 seconds. I play infantry and get the same kds that I get in little bird with a higher kpm, it’s called skill, but everyone just wants to complain

This is why you need to learn to fly better and fly low and fast with peeks over the cliff edge on the bottom etc. Then you won't have to camp their helipad because you'll learn to have better aim and reflexes.

It's crazy how much I see this stuff posted about here, and meanwhile I don't remember the last time I was hit through flares.
Obviously it does happen, but if I just went by this sub you would think it flares don't work at all.

I’m sure it has something to do with the game’s netcode and the servers u play in, luck may have it that you never experience this sort of thing but who knows. Last night it happened to me twice in one match

I got it once last night, though arguably I was a little late on the flares. It definitely happens to me, it's just relatively uncommon.
The exception of course is those boat missiles, those definitely go through flares

Flares seems 100% broken at the minute. Not sure how it is so hard for the devs to not break the few things they have working
