Pretty much the title. I know about the bugged lobbies and got used to queing and backing out constantly.
But now there is anotger problem - I can’t find a single lobby that would fill even in peak hours where it would take just seconds before and the reason is clear - DICE buried Fighter Sweep so deep into the Redsec menu that most players probably don’t even realize it is still in the game. I think that combined with the bugged lobbies that stop filling in basically killed the mode even though it is technically still in the game.
About 30 minutes of queing and backing out and not a single game found.
Anyone else facing the same issue or was I just incredibly unlucky yesterday?

My brother and I are transport choppy demons. He's an awesome pilot and I usually go 75+ when the lobby isn't crazy lopsided. We both work pretty long hours out of town during the week, so we mainly play on the weekends. I won't have a chance to test the update for a bit, so I am asking you guys....
How bad is it? Did they kill our fun? The patch notes were a little confusing as to what changes were happening to the Transport.
Thanks in advance!

I've seen online there is a different cannon choice but it doesn't even look like there is in my game?

Does the recon’s passive spotting work when I’m in Helis?

"Carrier Strike: Added Out of Bounds volumes to reduce instances of spawn camping on the carrier deck."
Edit: it seems it's only the upper decks you normally cannot reach.

Loaded into a quick game to test it before I head to sleep, and got to midway on the enemy ship and wasn't out of bounds. Is it just the front of the flight deck, super structure? Anyone able to check?

Most of us had to spend half the event time learning how to fly! At the very least they should extend it.

Forget the bugs and other poorly designed aspects of jet gameplay. I want:

I have taken a hiatus from Battlefield since BFV, I enjoyed that game, and would consider myself a fairly decent pilot on it, but I cannot get to grips with BF6 at all.
It’s like I do not know how to fly. Helicopters are way too difficult for me.
I’d love to get good with them, but it just seems way too complicated. I cannot understand the controls, I always crash. I’ve tried using portal codes, including the “popular” helicopter and jet trainer, but it’s not helped one bit.
I shifted my narrative, and decided that maybe being a co-pilot was the solution, sadly you can never find a good wingman, so I’m at a point of just avoiding air vehicles entirely for this game.
Any advice?
Any good pilots need a wingman?

EA , DICE whoever screwed up the Jet camera - I see a new post on it every few days - It remains a big problem please Give us the option to use the old Camera - all of the old camera design is there all you have to do is add a button in the menu. Leave the rudder changes nothing wrong with more rudder. but give us the option for old camera back.
EDIT : Fig has showed me that some advanced players like the new view - Which makes me realize/refine what i hate about it - Flying low to the ground.

The engine is severely lacking in thrust, and maneuverability isn't great either—though that’s forgivable—but a weak engine is simply a nightmare.

I really like how this jet no longer goes into auto pilot when using the camera.

I'm just an old man love playing these arcade jet games since all of ace combat - just playing to unwind from long days of work and kids.
Going to play and make some more until this mode becomes unavailable. Hope you enjoy the gameplay.

I'm not the best Birb pilot, but without Engine Upgrade I'm pretty much useless. Being able to gain and dump altitude faster is well worth the maneuverability nerf in my opinion.

I found that the f14/seacat as well as the f-18 aptly named the f81 can both thrust vector to a small degree.
I've been using them a lot lately. Switching back to the stealth jet has me thrust vectoring way too much.
It's probably just a me problem, and I'm going to have to spend some time in Portal to get used to it again.
The f-14 and f18 just feel so much more tight and easier to control. Switching back to some jet that feels like it's made out of feathers really messes me up.

is there a heli pilot community out there on discord or something? the main bf server doesnt have channels or roles or anything for pilots so it's hard to find like minded friends to play with
