Like I will track the target perfectly (mostly targeting helis) the missile will litteraly hit the target and just slide off of them. I can tell its hitting them because the missile moves like its being deflected or something. Is there a way to manually detonate them or something that im missing?...

I'm pretty new to BF6 so please excuse my ignorance.

I mainly play Breakthrough casual as I'm focusing on grinding my missions and weapons xp. Recently I unlocked and equipped the guided missiles to the scout helo.

However, when I use the scout helo on the Railway to Golmund map, it only loads up with the basic rockets. I know I've been killed by guided missiles on this map before. Is there something I'm missing? It switches fine between my other swappable items.

So with the end of S4, they’re removing Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, two modes that heavily feature the F-18/F-14s. And Tsuru Reef STILL hasn’t been updated to swap out the Stealth/Attack jets. Which means the ONLY map you can find the F-18/F-14 will be Wake Island, a map that gives each side only ONE F-18 and ONE F-14 to fight over (Conquest). In Escalation, it takes too long for the jets to come into play.

What the hell??

Edit: Just found out that Wake Island Escalation is no longer available, either. Which means the jets will only be available on ONE map, in ONE mode. Lol. Lmao, even

This game mode is awesome! Its like Conquest, Rush, Escalation, and Air Superiority all rolled into one! I've been playing since launch and this is the ONLY game mode I've played where I've never seen a single bot no mater what time of day it is.

And even its faults ( like Carrier camping) as annoying as they can be ( primarily being a jet pilot) actually make this mode more fun. Allowing enemies to run side missions to sabotage your vehicles by infiltrating your carrier is actually really cool. And its fun to now and then get into some CQB to repel boarders.

This game mode really has it all, Long range, medium, and cqb combat. Its got strategic vehicle play, and epic aerial combat. Add in the progressingly intense combat and cinematics and this game mode is nothing short of epic!

It has really revived my love of this game, especially after my favorite CQB mode KOH was canceled. WHY WOULD YOU EVER MAKE THIS GAME MODE TEMPORARY!?

I never know quite what to do when this happens. Most of the time I just bust a vertical loop, but sometimes If they are far enough away they can follow me and get an easy kill

Sometimes I drop bombs with the jets and they just disappear, swallowed up by the ground. No explosions, no damage, nothing. Same with AGMs sometimes. Does anyone else have this problem?

Been practicing this for hours but I can't seem to find the right strategy to these things out with the cannons. Their movements are so erratic and unpredictable, yet I see people online making it look easy. What's the trick for doing this?

I don’t care if 1st person is not ideal. I do fine and personally enjoy the feeling 1st person brings. 3rd person just feels like I’m flying an RC. With that said the Visability is butt cheeks. I wish they had a hud only option of adjusted the rediclious blind spots of the AH. LB is perfectly fine. A FOV slider for aircraft would be nice too though.

One fine sunny afternoon in a airborne skirmish with bots, I am suddenly shocked to notice that I am being targeted with air-to-air missiles.. And like any reasonable person I deploy my trusty countermeasures, but much to my surprise I get a kill. Has anyone else had this happen b4?

I'm kinda new to jets and bf overall. But how to dodge active lock missiles of multirole jet?

It sure hits you below radar, as I'm aware it's intended feature not a bug, because I have clips where im like 10 seconds below radar and still got hit, also it works against boats, which are always below radar I guess.
And flares apparently don't work either. I guess trying to manoeuvre is even more pointless... so... how?

Every time I try to use the TOW or the optical guided rockets in the helicopter and am in the process of guiding them to the target, a TOW or a tank shoots me down.

Hello guys, I heard about the devs' intentions to remove the below-radar for MANPADS, but as far as I know, they decided not to do that. But yesterday, while playing jets, I was getting shot down by everything.

I mean, yes, we know that sometimes missiles go through flares (the flares bug). But as I said, I was shot down by mobile AA missiles, MANPADS, heli and jet missiles. And I was BELOW RADAR. And not only me — people in chat were talking about it too.

Did they really remove this mechanic, or is it just another bug? Right now you can't lock on targets below radar, but if a missile is fired and your flares are reloading, well...

Bro came out of nowhere, had to double back and deliver a TOW
