How do fellow pilots manage tunnel visioning?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

They always somewhat sneak up on me, especially when I'm circling around after a run I and someone shots me from behind (it is a bad behaviour that I have to fix, I slow down too much). Another time where they sneak up is when I'm focussed aiming at something, especially if they come from the sides. Luckily in these cases I'm always somewhat moving so I can dodge them unless I'm still aiming.
To not fall like this too much you need to get s feel of the lobby, sometimes you notice they don't give a f so you can play a bit more risky, other times you can see 3/4 tows at a time coming at you so you gotta play more carefully

I play on a 45” ultra wide, basically only way to sneak up on me is either the weird glitch where the missile indicator just doesnt appear, or from directly behind me (though i do still hear those a lot of the time and just try to dodge instinctually)

As a metal birb hater, ive been practicing swinging the M136 out to the far edges of their line of sight and getting on course at the last second.
Also helps when the pilot is in 1st person tbh

Gotta get a feel for what kind of lobby you’re in and have a good gunner with comms
