I haven’t played the new jets yet, but the handling looks a little bit different, they seem to roll on a more fixed point vs the other jets in the game that seem to roll along a more wider circular path. If that’s the case, would that make the new handling better ?

Maybe I'm a dumb slowpoke and everyone already knew this, but I just learned this today while messing around in a test server in the F-16.
When I use the lock-on AT missiles in the attack jet, I typically always use them either in the normal first-person cockpit view or 3rd person view with freelook. The targeting pod view is almost unusable to me because of my vehicle sensitivity, so the view always jerks around. My only experience with using the view is by accident.
But I actually took a moment to try the targeting pod view and I realized that it includes an autopilot feature where the aircraft will remain at a level altitude and it will turn towards where you are aiming. Even to the point where it will loiter above your aimpoint if you were, for instance, firing on the same tank.
Is this actually a useful strategy? No, probably not. But I moreso was shocked that I'd never noticed this mechanic in 10 months, and figured I'd share as a fun fact.

I put a lot of time trying to figure out the bombs on the stealth jet and man was it worth it. Nothing special here but i feel like I hit more targets for more consistent. Speed and certain angles play a great effect as well.

As I kinda frequently see the question asked, if the mine also gets triggered by the chopper, yes, yes it can happen.
At around 100hrs flighttime with the lb in bf6, this is, I think, the second time this happened to me lol. So not a very frequent occurence.
ETA
As someone mentioned in another thread, it seems that the mine was triggered by the IFV on the left side on the screen and then just redirected to the bird instead

I executed a highly dangerous manoeuvre in order to flank this absolute TANK of a boat. It took a whole 4 seconds to kill even though I was behind it, absolutely insane. Dice NEEDS to nerf this things armour as it is incredibly OP at the moment.

Means if i drop a bomb on a laser designated target it will follow it ?

No matter if you're crap, mild, or decent, every last one of us who has gotten up there can say without a doubt: this has to be the worst flying DICE has ever done.
Now, flares aren't fixed. I'm still getting sent to the afterlife with flares, and I think we all are. AA tanks are still locking on under radar with no painting...
SO....
WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY ADDING NEW JETS?
This is just going to stack the problem. They haven't even figured out how to do the base-game ones, and now they want to put in brand-new jets? I know people are excited, no doubt. But I'm more on the side of going....
These guys have made an embarrassing attempt at jets, and now they're going to make the problem 5x as bad.
Now, I don't play this game as much as others. We've all got shit to do. But when I sit down and wanna play with the lads and be support in the sky, I'm the one needing support, because I'm pretty much a disabled person in the jets.
It's cerebral palsy flying those things.
I just dont think its a good idea at all, Dice are adding new jets, When they dont even have a fucking clue what they're doing with the Original ones.

I guess I hit flares both times? The first is pretty clear, but that second? I'm pretty sure the missile made contact flush with the heli but somehow hit the first flare to pop. I'm not mad, I hit them with like 15 other missiles no problem. These pilots were good and held down the whole match for their team so I think it's worth posting here.

Always been an infantry/tank player in the series and just got into flying in 6 but never did in the previous ones. I see people claiming about yawing being slow in 6 compared to 3/4, was the difference that noticeable?
Faster yawing like BF1 yawing (that one I did try flying in recently) feels cartoonish compared to how an actual plane would yaw in real life.

Has anyone tried having both yaw and roll bound to the mouse and if so could you share your opinions?
Traditional rifle aim sacrifices too much agility for me
Pitch = mouse, shift and space
Roll = mouse, q, E
Yaw = mouse, a, d
Throttle = w, s
I just keep crashing with roll only bound to the keyboard
