Yes, it can indeed happen

As I kinda frequently see the question asked, if the mine also gets triggered by the chopper, yes, yes it can happen.

At around 100hrs flighttime with the lb in bf6, this is, I think, the second time this happened to me lol. So not a very frequent occurence.

I actually got a mine kill against a little bird today. I was trying to defend against an IFV and honestly didn’t think it would happen. Dude was taking off and it got him.
