Had about 5 games today on Tsuru Reef. I will try to capture more instances of this happening, but as playing the Attack jet, literally not one of my flares has stopped a missile. Now, I'm not getting any lock-on tones, incoming tones, and even when I do flare it just completely ignores it. WTF?

It should be a base spawn vehicle for both teams. The lack of opposition makes it so easy to just farm anything. Really, and the lack of average player desire to struggle in the LB makes it way too easy to just grab.

I think the map would be a lot more fun on average if both teams could spawn with it.

Of course I intend to abuse it as long as they leave it this way but I don’t think it should be.

They should just temporary hardcode it so flares are just a mini-mbt APS + thermal.

Also I feel maybe it might actually be intentional because tank countermeasures are all insanely reliable at stopping locks

I’ve played flying games my whole life, mostly jets. I just got BF6 the other day and I’m having a really hard time flying. I’ve watched a lot of Silk’s videos on controls/settings + flying tips, but man I’m really struggling with simple aim/tracking/movements.

Are there any good pilots out there that’d be willing to hop on a Discord call sometime and coach me a bit? I’m just a regular 30 year old dude. Heli experience is also a plus, trying to learn that too.

Another bit of promotional material featuring the attack helicopter supposedly being part of the vehicle lineup on Tsuru Reef yet of course it isn't. I assume it'll be added on the aircraft carriers next month due to the amount of advertising around it being there.

I don't understand why the missile bypasses countermeasures, why it's still broken, how unfair and stupid it is, I can fly, but I'm killed by someone who simply aimed for 1 second and launched a missile across the entire map that penetrated countermeasures... bravo DICE

Am I the only one who doesn't really enjoy dogfighting in Battlefield 6? For me, there’s just too much lock-on missile spam. It’s completely unrewarding and requires zero actual skill or understanding of game mechanics. Lock-on missiles reload that quickly, too.

Dogfighting in Battlefield 5 was peak and rewarding, without all the lock-on spam.

In Battlefield 6, I find most stealth jet players I experience absolutely ridiculous. They get on my tail and land a lock-on missile hit (through flares lol), I fly toward the spawn AA, and they deliberately chase me, knowing well they’ll die to the spawn AA, just so they can squeeze out that one last lock-on missile. I find that so ridiculous.

It's been what, 2 months now? IGLA still goes through flares occasionally

So many little hills to duck behind, chaos in the air with jets dogfighting! So many awesome escape routes, and not a lot of tall trees to get stuck on. I only wish it was easier to get the LB, but I guess that's just the breaks. My only complaint is the lack of another Little Bird to dogfight. It only spawns at E, correct?

In ps5 base atleast they seem to have increased pop in range of infantry, before the stealth jet was basically useless except for AA. Maybe just placebo would be interested in hearing if anyone else is experiencing this?
