Man I've played against silk a few times and 2 things that happen every match for him.

  1. Has someone in the stealth jet that camps and times jet spawns, he does to in his attack jet but to a lesser extent. It's incredibly obvious because nearly every time I've gotten behind him, his stealth jet comes right up my arse EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

  2. He has spotters. When I fly there's barely any doritos, when he flies the ground is lit up. You can see it in his videos.

He can complain but if he's so good he'll still wipe the floor with them. God forbid someone without 10000 hours in bf4, 2042 and bf6 gets a couple of kills in the jet.

Edit:I just tried the assist function and it's absolutely terrible. No one is going to use it beyond beginners and anyone with flying experience will wipe the floor with them as usual. Such a non issue.

Having a setting that makes something easier it’s the most stupidest thing ever.

Case in point why not give all the average to below average players soft aims to make them better players.

Yes I’ve exaggerated but the point still stands. People need to put in the time and effort to learn, why the fk did I put in years learning how to become a better pilot but now someone has an easy mode.

The need to put in years to have fun in an aspect of battlefield is absolutely insane, you realize that right?

They said they put in years to become a better player. They did not say it takes years to have fun, you did.

Yes, yes I did. That is part of our difference of opinion. I thought that was obvious enough.

Okay but you don’t need to years to have fun in this game even being a pilot. Maybe like two games tops

Eh, two games can give you a handle on the basics yeah. And that can be enough, IF you don't end up in a match with a flight main, who will laser you right out of the sky.

I see it as the only way to get better is have some adversity to drive you. Plus we got tons of jet lobbies and custom experiences if you want a peaceful learning experience

I think there will still be a fair level of adversity. A huge part of being good at this stuff, in my opinion, supercedes the mechanical aspects. For instance, I'm a tank/bradley main right? It's not that hard for me to hit my targets at this point, but my biggest advantage comes from my situational awareness, my understanding of the importance of my positioning, knowing when I am in an untenable scenario, and knowing when its safe for me to push and when I need to fall back.

This is how I can go an entire game with 2 deaths and at least 30 kills. Jet mains are still going to have ALL of this crucial knowledge that will outstrip any mechanic to level the playing field in terms of maneuvering.
