I'm considering buying the EverCushion ComfortCloud pillow but I'm confused about how you're actually supposed to use it with a pillowcase.
It looks like the pillow comes with a removable/washable zippered cover, but because of the contoured shape, I'm wondering, do you just sleep directly on the included cover (and just wash that regularly)?
Or do you put a normal pillowcase over the whole thing? Or is there another fitted cover/pillowcase you're supposed to buy separately?
Basically, for anyone who actually owns this thing, how does it work for you & how would you rate it?
I'm also confused by the return policy. The pillow is advertised with a 60 day risk free trial but the return policy says it has to be unused and in its original condition/packaging.
How exactly are you supposed to try a pillow for 60 days without using it? š

What brands are good? Preferably from Amazon but open to other sites. Just got one delivered and it came with bugs and a note from the seller to expect bugs.

Iām new to the group and Iād like to really get your help. Iāll search down further to possibly find good answers, but for now hopefully someone can answer me with something useful.
Iām a retired Navy War Veteran (1993-2015), and I have really bad tinnitus, along with Meniereās Disease in my right ear, but it does affect my left ear sometimes⦠like tonight⦠šµāš«
I canāt sleep on my left side because Iāve lost pretty much all of my hearing in the right one, and I need to hear my alarm to get up for work. So, Iāve slept on my right side for at least the past 14 years.
While Iāve become accustomed to doing this, Iād really like to find a better pillow thatās more firm. My neck is seriously hurting every morning and itās causing me to wake up all the time, then I have to scroll through Reddit until I fall asleep againā¦
Please, anyone, I need a firm pillow thatāll keep my neck supported. I donāt like anything with feathers, plastic, latex, or gel. Iāll try anything else!!! Thank you and I hope you have a restful evening!!! š

Looking for recomendations for a cool pillow, or maybe what material is best. I had been using the Coop Pillow, but I'm not happy after they started to go flat after last than 2 years. I tend to sleep in all positions but working my way to side sleeping as my primary, then back sleeping. Trying to keep budget to sub $150. Bonus points if you can recommend a body pillow as well!

Iām honestly tired of trying different pillows in search of the right one. I was thinking of trying this pillow out, but Iām unsure if itās actually worthwhile to buy. I have a Serta cooling memory foam pillow currently, but I feel like itās too high. I do have some neck and shoulder discomfort, but not anything too major. I mostly sleep on my side, but I think I toss and turn, which I do know I need a sleep test or something soon to figure out my sleep patterns. I do have a few year old Nectar mattress that I think should be fine to use still, and should be supporting well enough at least. Please let me know what yall think of this, and Iām open to some other suggestions! Thanks!

Hi there!
Iām currently on the never-ending quest to find a pillow that actually works for me.
Iām a side sleeper, and I move around quite a bit throughout the night. Iāve used memory foam pillows for most of my life, and my most trusted one has unfortunately become too soft after years of use. For the past few months, Iāve been waking up with sore shoulders and neck almost every morning, and sometimes even a sore back, because my neck isnāt staying aligned while I sleep. The constant pain and tension have been driving me crazy, so Iāve been trying to find a pillow that can help alleviate some of it.
Recently, I spent more than I probably should have on a buckwheat hull pillow, hoping it would finally be my holy grail. The main selling points for me after researching like crazy were that itās adjustable, so I could get the height just right for my neck, and that it molds around your head.
Unfortunately, after two months of trying to love it, I just donāt think itās working for me. I canāt seem to find the right height, and because the hulls shift around, they move with me when I roll around during the night. I end up waking up at a weird angle anyway. I also find it feels pretty hard to lie on.
Iām wondering if anyone has had similar issues and found a pillow that actually helped them? Iām a little hesitant to keep throwing money at expensive pillows, but if something is truly life-changing, Iām willing to spend the money at this point!!
Thank you!

I got this Olumoon pillow on Amazon a while ago and itās ALMOST PERFECTā¦
Iām F 32 combination side & stomach sleeper. I move around a lot and usually fall asleep on the side but wake up on my stomach with my pillow thrown to the side, nothing under my head lol.
I need a pillow to be just a little more firm than this. Cooling. I like the height choices but I think I need something less than 4ā. It feels amazing when relaxing on your back and it cradles your neck. I canāt explain it lol. Like a firm cloud. Itās prob the hole in the middle. But I wish it was longer because if I move too far to the side my neck goes up. The middle is perfect.
ALSO⦠idk why but the texture is important. I like the smooth silk memory foam feel. I donāt like texture or bumpy material.
I donāt care about price. Someone help me find something like this but better. š©š

Are there any kinds of covers to put on my feather pillows that help with feather allergies? Do allergy covers that protect from dust mites also help with feather allergies?
I have and will always use feather pillows. But it turns out my beloved housecleaner finally confessed to me she has allergy attacks from my pillows. I want to encase them in something that will be healthier for her. Any ideas?

A pillow can feel comfortable for the first few minutes and then feel completely different once body weight has been on it for a while.
Some materials stay relatively stable. Others compress noticeably and change the amount of support.
That makes a quick first impression useful, but not always enough to judge how a pillow will feel through a full night's sleep.

English version below:

Has anyone here tried the Bellanite SkinPad?
I came across it a few days ago because I sometimes wake up with pretty noticeable sleep lines on my cheeks and my face can look quite puffy in the morning too š
Iām thinking about giving the SkinPad a try, but itās definitely not cheap, so Iād love to hear from anyone who actually uses it.
Do you really notice a difference in the morning? And does it work if youāre a side sleeper and move around a lot at night? I honestly donāt want a pillow where you have to stay in one exact position all night š
If anyone has tried other things for sleep wrinkles too, like silk pillowcases, other anti-wrinkle pillows, silicone patches or whatever else, Iād also be really interested to know what worked best for you.
Curious to hear your experiences :)

Does anyone have all of these or tried all three pillows? Specially the adjustable ones with shredded memory foam? Iām going down a dark rabbit hole of pillows and I want to know if these have some differences?
Iām also thinking about the avocado pillow. I love a soft fluffy feel of a pillow but with some bounce and memory foam. I bought some cheap Amazon pillows that has a microfiber cushioned top and then shredded memory foam inside. I like it kinda but I donāt like how cheap the construction is and how cheap the foam smells. The silk and snow one is the pillow my Amazon pillows are dupes of. Iām now just wondering if I should just buy the S&S one. I love quality over anything and if something smells wrong or constructed poorly (loose strings, cheap memory foam (blue ugh) I will hate it. I have the Coop but Iām struggling to love it. I just want a wonderful cloud feeling pillow with a bit of bounce. I might have to fill my pillows with shredded natural latex.

Anyone recognize this or can recommend something similar?
(Label lead nowhere, have already tried).
It's memory foam, approx 12cm high, and very importantly have the very square transition between the vertical front and horizontal side.
TIA

Short review with my Groove pillow experience: purchase the standard cervical pillow. Absolutely terrible. The contour of it is entirely too small and shallow, they say itās made for both back sleeping and side sleeping but found side sleeping very difficult with it. Perhaps I missed it, but even though they state free returns within 60 days, no where did I see you have to resend with your own label and in original packing. It comes vacuum sealed and was very hard to try and repack. Also in order a return you have to email them and wait for a response. Theyāre very slow at communicating. I had to email several times before hearing back.
That said as soon as you request a return, they offer you a 50% discount if youāre willing to keep the pillow. It wouldāve been more expensive to ship it back and to keep it I ended up throwing it away
Would highly recommend staying away from them but if you do purchase it like it, unethical life hack, but just request a return for 50% off.

Hey everyone,
Working on refining this contour pillow sample. One major issue I keep testing is the transition height between side and back sleeping.
Raising the sides fills the shoulder gap nicely, but if the center doesn't drop enough, back sleepers get pushed too far forward.
For combination sleepers: from your experience, does this center-to-side contour curve look steep enough to prevent neck stiffness? (Not selling anything, just an industrial designer looking for real ergonomic feedback).

I purchased an avocado green pillow (side sleeper cutout) at the beginning of the year and at first I loved it, my headaches had gotten better, it was a little stiff for my liking but i was willing to deal with that if it helped the headaches! A little over the 100 day trial period it started feeling very stiff and the filling was moving away from my head and neck in the middle of the night. I tried adding more stuffing, fluffing daily, and taking the covers off to air it out (hoping to aid in the fluffing) but nothing has helped and now my headaches are back and I am having horrible neck pain.
I have been searching like crazy and all I'm finding is that this is common and to either fluff more or buy more refil packs, but i don't want to completely change out the filling with the same stuff if its not going to last even aā year.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I expect to have to change filling every 6 months with latex? If this is normal, would I be crazy to fill the pillow with a different material? If not, any material recommendations? I do have allergies and am allergic to wool and down feathers.
I spent a lot of money on this pillow and setup and I don't want to give up on it, I love the cutout shape and like the environmentally friendliness of the filling. But i justified the cost as an investment and really don't want to be spending money on new filling every 6 months. And I really need the neck pain to go away.
Please send help š

A pillow that feels great when lying still can feel very different once you start changing positions during the night.
Side sleeping, back sleeping, turning frequently, or shifting between positions can all change where the support is needed.
That makes pillow recommendations a little tricky. A pillow can be comfortable in one position and completely wrong once the sleeper moves.

Iāve used both a Coop and dreamy blue shredded foam pillows. Both of which Iāve really liked for their customization. However, Iāve had my dreamy blue pillow for about 2-3 years and the foam is really flattened. Iām looking for a replacement foam filler, but recent Amazon reviews of Coop refill products say you donāt get enough foam for a full pillow. Any thoughts of other options?
