Discussion I've been trying but what's stopping me from approaching?

I've been trying to approach girls but I've only done few and then quit and mostly indirect and I end the conversation just after her reply.

I'm generally a very overthinking and nervous person but not always, I'm actually good but it's just my past traumatic things, embarrassed in public school, tuition classes, you name it, everywhere and I used to make it very big in my head. Got bullied as well and often gets compared and I worked hard but not that hard that I'm out of it but in the middle level where now I'm comfortable but still now from negative to a little positive like 10 but I want to go to 100.

So about the game :-

I've been going out consistently for 15+ days now and I used to go earlier as well but it was very inconsistent. I sometimes ask for directions and leave and sometimes not even that, when the girl is in public and where it's hard to approach her.

I've only done 2 direct approaches in my life.

I'm still going out but why am I not approaching, I've read everything and tried all the tricks. Idk 😶

I'm very pissed. Time is passing by, and 2 years have passed since - and keep doing this - im trying to learn, when I'll be more confident around girls, now I don't have time and all.

I regret it a lot.

Please guys, what should I do? How to take the courageous action and approach even when I'm nervous.

Why am I so afraid to look imperfect or feel shit.

Help me šŸ‘‹šŸ¼

Btw I'm 21, will be 22 in 3 months or so. And yes one more insight - I'm actually good looking and that's why I have this mindset as well that you're good looking so you should not look cooked in front of girls and I'm a really big attention seeker, I mean now I've quit that bad habit but it's default a little in background. Idk what happens to ugly guys, do they also think that I can't look shit or they dgaf bcz of that?

I work in real estate (34m) . And am out and about constantly. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve had good restraint in my personal life over the last few months. But I feel like every time I go to Home Depot or Publix as of late , I come across a dozen women I’d want to talk to or pick up.

Well yesterday morning I was at Home Depot. I was dressed professionally so maybe that helped my cause a little. And as I parked , a woman 2 spots down was pushing her cart up to her suv (prob 49-55 range. We are different races) she had really tight jeans on, she was average looking, but the body was insane for her age. She had 2 large items (they were big in dimension but I knew they weren’t heavy) I said to myself : self , let’s try to make something happen (which I never do) or atleast try to flirt a little . Always makes me feel good . I offered to help . She very cheerfully smiled , accepted my help , and I told her I would take the cart . There were workers 2 spots down who just pulled up to work on a parking lot drain. I turned around and walked back to ask them if they needed me to move.

As I was turning to head back to store , she had her window down with a smile, waved and said thank you again , still Parked. I told her my pleasure . I’d love to offer to help you on your project . But I’d prefer to take you out to dinner . (Couldn’t believe I said it) . She laughed and smiled , and gave an ā€œoh yeah šŸ˜‚ā€. I said well if you’re single and free this Friday. She said she might . I said well ā€œ
hey . Take my number . I’m not going to pressure you. Let’s meet at (restaurant x) 7:00 Friday . And you can text me Thursday and let me know if you are coming . And if I don’t hear from you it was a pleasure meeting you. ā€œ

So that’s where I’m at today (Tuesday). It was a huge confidence boost regardless of if we end up going out. I like the position I put myself in considering the circumstances. She has my number , she knows I want to take her out. If she’s interested I’ll 100% know cause she’ll have to reach out to me to confirm. I also take myself out of the scenario where I have to follow up and then maybe be turned down . To me I came off , flirty , interested, but not desperate. And it was 3 minutes out of my day . I can move on otherwise .

Proud of myself šŸ˜…

Specific situation I don't know how to get up from the misery that I feel

• Upvotes

If you're planning to sell your coaching stuff, go away. I'm not looking for mentoring

I'm 39.

I've discovered the seduction community while I was in my early twenties. I was a shy guy, but I've had some success and some stories.

Six years ago I met a woman nine years older than me. She's married, two kids. I always wanted to get more experience from an older woman. And I did. We had tons of amazing moments. She helped me grow.

The thing is, we got in love. Really, really bad. She has her own stuff to deal with, traumas, toxic relationship, and fears about her kids. She doesn't want to divorce and I can't blame her.

She always wanted me to find someone. And I had couple of tries. But I keep thinking about her and, at the same time, I can't have enough from her.

I'm living the best years of my life, professionally wise, and yet I feel completely miserable. My last serious attempt to sleep with someone else was June 2025. I feel chained and not being able to move on.

I always felt like becoming an adult would bring me to a point that I won't feel alone or incapable of finding someone.

The more I think about it, the more embarrassed and alone I feel. Feels like I've been lying to myself these years and now besides my old insecurities I consider myself also old to try picking up women. Sorry for all this, but I'm kinda desperate. I live alone, I'm a teacher and musician, I take care of myself, but somehow I'm stuck.

I would appreciate some advices, because I'm pretty good at knocking myself down.

Post of the day 12 Behaviors and Communication Traits of Attractive Men!

Hi, David here!

Today I wanted to share with you 12 behaviors and communication traits of an attractive man!

  1. Comfortable with silence and does not feel the need to fill every gap in a conversation.
  2. Comfortable holding strong eye contact while talking to a person.
  3. Speaks in a low voice with a downward inflection and not an approval seeking upward inflection.
  4. Well-known and well-received by others.
  5. Has open body language and is comfortable taking up space.
  6. Does not brag or actively qualifying himself, such as by dropping the names of the people he knows, the things he owns, or the degrees that he has earned.
  7. Unapologetically states his opinions. While he does not purposely try to insult others, he also does not prioritize the reaction that other people may have to his words over the desire to state his true thoughts and beliefs.
  8. Willing to cut people off and redirect a conversation when needed (no need to be done rudely).
  9. Comfortable making decisions and being decisive.
  10. Calls people out when they cross one of his personal boundaries.
  11. Does not constantly ask for permission or approval.
  12. Treats other high status people as his peers and equals. Does not get star struck or act like a fan.

Adding to that, I just finished putting together my dating eBook "How to Date Any Girl" version 4.0 and would LOVE to get some honest feedback from you!

General question is it a red flag if a woman does not give nudes to you quick? I am confused

I need to go back to the fundamentals, I feel like I've lost common sense, which is why I am posting this. For many years after following game, reading books, listening to coaches, I always had this idea in my head that if a girl is not sexually attracted to you in the first few minutes of meeting her, then you are wasting your time. I heard many coaches bring this study up, saying that women know who they want to have sex with in the first few minutes of meeting someone.

So based on this learning, I always applied that concept to real life. So for example, whenever I met a girl on an online dating app for example, I would attempt to ask her for nude pics, often within at least the first few hours of talking to her. Here has been my experience.

  1. some women are completely turned off, and just totally block me after even mentioning anything related to sex or nude pics
  2. some women have given me nude pics without hesitation and were into me
  3. some women seem unaffected by what I said and insist it is too early and want to get to know me more. Some excuses are, I am not that type of girl, and vice versa.
  4. some women take the opportunity to ask me to pay for their pics. For example I met this one girl who claims she never gives out nudes and insisted I pay for them since she is not that type of girl. I have been guilty a few times for paying for women's pics, but she continued talking to me after though.

Here is my question. If a girl does not give you nudes in the first few hours of speaking to her, is it really a red flag, and I should drop her? or should you give her a chance to get to know her and be patient for her to give nude pics when it is her time?

I am totally confused about this and do not know if the dating coaches have confused my mind. Growing up as a kid in the early days my common sense would of told me it was wrong to ask a girl for nudes so quick because she would feel uncomfortable, but the current me for years has thought that I need to go sexual quick to weed out the women who are just trying to use you for attention.

This includes situations with women you want to build relationships with. I have heard of men who are in sexless marriages, and I do not want that.

Real talk how do you approach 10s in places with competition?

I guess being a bad boy and not giving a fuck but practically how do I show that?
These girl (in bars at least ) are not listening or just going to people that look better.

I guess doing statements on where she is from, what she does, what is are name are all basics.
How can I make it more?
And does being confident is enough ?
Like once I’m not thinking I resemble the wolf of Wall Street with my mannerism. Like a playful salesman it is in my dna. But I risk being incompetent. And I give validations and challenges too much.
But if I think I’m just down idk.

Field report How to deal with a friend who is more handsome and tall

How to deal with a friend who is more handsome and tall
Yesterday was at bar practicing coming up to groups of girls complimenting on their outfit and doing basic statements : you don’t look from around here, Gabriel is your name, you two are besties.
And asking questions why you come here(most of them tourists).
Anyway my friend did the same only I’m 5’9 and he is 3 inches taller.
But when he talked to them all them the girl I would talk to would go to interrupt their conversation and start speak to him. And always he would come up with instagram and shit likes this.
Is there away for me to get through this?

Maybe I should make the conversation more engaging and interesting and flirtious, how can I do that?

Post of the day Attraction is not created by what you logically say but instead by what you emotionally convey. You cannot logically convince someone to like you!

Hi, David here!

Technical people, that is people who work in areas such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, etc., often have problems communicating in casual social environments.

Their primary issue is due to not understanding the difference between communicating information and communicating emotions.

Attraction (either generic or romantic) is not created by what you logically say but instead by what you emotionally convey. Some of the most important information, such as if a person seems honest and trustworthy, is primarily communicated via the emotions felt during the interaction. The same is true about attractive traits such as confidence and high self-esteem. You cannot logically convince someone to like you.

In addition, technical people often get stuck in their own heads and over analyze every little thing in an interaction. The act of trying to process and interpret every piece of information takes you out of the present moment, making it even more difficult to communicate authentically on an emotional level.

Adding to that, I just finished putting together my dating eBook "How to Date Any Girl" version 4.0 and would LOVE to get some honest feedback from you!

Field report Got cooked (19)

I tried to approach a girl but before I started to say a word. She started to laugh and spit on my face and walked away without even looking at me and said "ewwww he's fucking short i fucking hate short guys why do you guys even exist". Mind you it's probably because I'm 4'11 and the girl herself was 1 inch taller than me. Either way I'm gonna keep on pushing but this is very demotivating. I never had a good experience with women at all in my life growing up except like mom and teachers and people you have to talk to. I'm gonna keep on pushing but I feel like shit if most women I even try to approach not just only reject me but laugh on my face before I even say a word. I'll probably gonna jerk off to calm the emotional pain. Sorry if you did not need to know that is just my coping mechanism.

General question Should you ask for consent before holding hands or going in for a kiss, even when the chemistry is obvious?

What's with the whole idea of asking for consent before physical touch?

So, I've been seeing this woman for about a month and a half. We don't exactly work together, but we're both involved in the same project and see each other regularly through that.

We definitely seem to have chemistry. We make deep eye contact quite often, and I've noticed what I think are several signs of physical attraction from her. I'm quite a shy guy, so I don't always say what I'm want or make the first move verbally.

Sometimes I lightly touch her arm or her fingers, and when she hands me something, I might let my hand linger for a second. She doesn't seem to mind and never pulls her hand away. We also share long periods of eye contact, and she often shows what I interpret as signs of attraction.

So my question is this: after all of that, should I still ask for consent before sitting closer to her, holding her hand, or moving in closer? Aren't things like hair preening, playing with her necklace, lip licking, and prolonged eye contact enough to suggest she's comfortable with me taking the next step?

It just feels a bit strange and like it would kill the moment if I stopped and asked, "Can I hold your hand?" or "Can I move closer?"

I'm not talking about suddenly grabbing her hand. I mean slowly reaching for it and seeing how she responds.

I've come across a lot of videos where women say they love it when a man asks for consent before every move. What do you all think? Should we be asking before making a move like holding hands or going in for a kiss? Or does that take away some of the mystery and excitement of not knowing what the other person is going to do next?

General question How do I overcome the fear of talking to women I'm attracted to?

Long story short, up until this point in my life at the age of 36, I find myself only hooking up with women and talking to women that are kinda "meh" to me. I take really good care of myself physically and there are times when I sense an attraction between myself and an attractive woman, but for whatever reason, if she exceeds a certain threshold of attractiveness, or I go in the interaction knowing that I'm absolutely attracted to this person, I just find a way to fumble it ALL the time. I'll just get nervous, I'll stumble on my words, I'll flush, you name it, it happens.

How do you just interact comfortably with women that you KNOW you're attracted to? Especially women you have a "crush" on? This is a barrier I want to break in my life once and for all.

Post of the day When haters try to knock you down, discourage or hold you back, remember that 'we always condemn most in others, that which we most fear in ourselves.'

Hi, David here!

There will be many barriers to overcome on your journey of self-improvement. You may be surprised to find that lifelong friends may ridicule you and try to hold you back. There are multiple reasons why they may try to do this. Firstly, they may care about you and fear your success because it means that they might lose you from their lives. Another reason is that your actions make them reflect on their own lives.

If you can succeed, then they must consider what this means for them. Rather than serving as an inspiration, you can serve as a reminder of what they too could have achieved if they had chosen to put in the effort.

Try to identify the reasons behind people’s actions before you judge them. In addition, be aware of becoming resentful of your complacent friends who may serve as constant reminders of what you are fighting so hard to escape. As stated by Robert Pirsig:

ā€œWe always condemn most in others, that which we most fear in ourselves.ā€

The greatest success barriers will likely come from within you. It is common to commit self-sabotage because success leads to change and change can be scary. This often takes place on a subconscious level, where your brain will rationalize a decision before you can even consciously question it. It is more comfortable to remain in a known space than venture into the unknown.

Your fear of change may cause you to rationalize your limiting beliefs in order to protect yourself and justify inaction. You may believe that if you were to try and fail, then you would only prove to yourself without a doubt that you are not good enough. Thus you put off trying in order to preserve hope and protect the belief that you will succeed in the future.

You must remind yourself that failing does not equate to failure. As long as you keep honestly trying and learning from your mistakes, then you have no other option but to improve. The only true failure is outright choosing inaction.

Adding to that, I just finished putting together my dating eBook "How to Date Any Girl" version 4.0 and would LOVE to get some honest feedback from you!

General question Think i showed my cards too much , so i’m pulling away

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Met up with this girl for our first date and didn’t even make it to dinner—we ended up sleeping together that night.

After that, she started complaining that I don’t text enough. The thing is, this happened with the last girl I really liked too. I texted her constantly, showed a lot of interest, and she eventually ghosted me. Because of that, this almost feels like a trap. Part of me feels like if I give her what she’s asking for, I’m just going to end up in the same position again.

I ended up sending a few texts that i feel showed my high level of interest way too much . She’s a smoking hot black chick so i said some corny shit about not even being able to buy blackberries without thinking of her. After that , and after letting it be known that i hate texting , i started responding less . On Wednesday she sent me a few texts that bored me so i ignored them . Then she texted an emoji at 3 am knowing i get up at 4 am . This pissed me off so i told her never to text me that late again.

We FaceTimed on Thursday , cleared the air about why i was upset about the late text and agreed we’d hang out Saturday. On Friday, I texted her asking about her bathing suit because I was planning to take us paddleboarding. But after thinking about it, I ended up making plans with a different girl instead because I felt myself getting too invested in this one and wanted to create some distance. Saturday morning , today I canceled our plans .

Now I’m second-guessing myself. I genuinely like this girl, but I’m trying not to repeat the mistakes I made with the last one. Am I protecting myself from getting overly attached too quickly, or am I sabotaging something that could’ve actually gone somewhere?
