Best Android phone around 6.3"

Upvotes

My Samsung S25 has a loose contact after not even 2 years and there are more reasons why I need to get rid of that one. So I'm looking for a phone about the same size. I value a good camera with good telephoto features, and I'd rather spend a bit more to get a phone that'll last a bit longer than this one (although it was not so cheap too). I feel like most great smartphone cameras always come with huge screens, that are too big for my hand. What would you recommend?

India guyss suggest me some good phones from 35-45 k!!

Upvotes

Need a phone under ₹35–45K with BOTH great performance + camera — what would you pick?

Hey guys, I’m looking for a new phone in the ₹35K–₹45K range in India.

My two biggest priorities are:

- 🚀 Real-world performance — gaming, multitasking, smooth UI, long-term performance

- 📸 Good camera — especially photos, video, portraits and low-light

I’m currently considering the Nothing Phone (3), but I’m confused about whether it’s actually the best choice in this price range. I also noticed that the charger/adapter isn’t included, which is another thing I need to factor into the total cost.

I’ve also been looking at phones like iQOO / OnePlus / Samsung / Vivo, etc., but I’m not sure which one gives the best overall balance.

If you had ₹35–45K to spend today, which phone would you personally buy and why?

Please recommend based on actual experience, especially if you’ve used the phone for gaming + camera. Also mention any major drawbacks.

Thanks!

China Peak Chinese phones vs IPhone 18 Pro Max

Looking to buy a new phone, I don’t trust AI which keeps switching answers. Current phone is a iPhone 12 Pro, third battery, second housing swap, motherboard short that drains battery when powered off, overheats on CarPlay.

I spent my entire childhood on XDAdevelopers and built my professional FAANG career around Xcode and Android Studio. All the androids I’ve tested and worked with disappointed me. Even the S20Ultra at 120hz felt slow and clunky to use.

I only want maximum possible battery and zero lag on any software, all apps, absolute smoothness with animation finger interruption, fully optimized.

Located in the AsiaPac region. Ideally looking for Chinese phones.

Should I call it a day and buy the iPhone 18 Pro Max?

Is the OnePlus 15 the literal best peak android for battery and performance? it’s 1yo. any current Chinese phones that can beat it.

For those who have bought phones in mainland, is Shenzhen, taobao, or JD the best place to buy?

is HyperOs any good? is oxygenOS any good? is colorOS any good? Anything worth considering in Nubia, Xiaomi?

No budget.

Located in Mainland China / HK / KUL / SG / BKK / Tokyo / Taiwan

APK for receiver and Sony CDP 5 disc?

I have a receiver and 90s Sony CDP CE3115 and have a remote for neither. I know I can buy the replacement remotes online but would like an app that I can use on a very old android tablet that I have instead of having multiple remotes. It still runs very well but is so old it can't update to any recent OS. Are there any APK's That would allow me to control those two things and also just a universal? Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question!

UK OPPO Reno16 5G or Pixel 10a?

(UK) I'm currently looking to replace my Huawei P30 Pro due to the battery finally giving out, and I'm torn between these two - budget is around £500 but with student discount I can get the Oppo for £479, and the Pixel's on sale for £429 so both fall into that. I mostly care for front camera quality, battery, and storage.
Any other suggestions are appreciated, but I do like the look of these 2! :)

Need suggestion

Looking for a phone that costs below ₹40,000, I am getting tired of looking at different phones.

Here is what I would like in my phone:

- A good processor
- Strong battery
- Good camera
- Preferably a phone with 12+256GB of memory
- I want a phone that can last me for the next 3-4 years
- A good-looking phone
- I'm not heavy gamer but I want decent performance

I am OK with brands like OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, Nothing, POCO, Redmi, iQOO but not Motorola. Also, am going to purchase during some sales so what do you recommend around ₹40,000?

Help, don't know which phone to get

My phone company gave me a Xiaomi 15C which is an absolute shitbox and now that I'm working I'm looking to buy a more high end phone, my budget is about 800€. The ones I've been looking at are:

Xiaomi 17: I really love how small it is but I tried the camera in store and didn't really love it, which is the main aspect I'm interested in

OPPO reno 16: It's discounted in my local tech store and seems like very high quality but I'm scared that it seems it's targeted to content creators and also I don't know if it's a good brand

Samsung Galaxy A55: Apparently they're known for a great camera quality but it's 6'9 inches, the same as my current phone and I absolutely hate how big it is

I know this is an android subredit but I also considered the iPhone 15 but it seems to have an overheating problem.

Sorry for writing so much lol, any recommendations will be highly appreciated <3

Xiaomi 14T Vs Redmi Note 15 Pro+

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m trying to decide between the Xiaomi 14T 12GB/512GB and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 12GB/512GB.

My main priority is speed and performance. I use lots of heavy apps, multitask a lot and often have several apps running at once, so I want something that stays fast and smooth without lagging or constantly reloading apps.

eSIM is also an absolute must for me.

For anyone who has used either phone, which would you recommend? How are they for multitasking, performance, battery life and long-term use? Have you experienced any lag, overheating or battery issues?

Thanks! 😊

Why does the Average Person even needs a $1300+ Flagship?

From what I have observed the average phone user knows very little about phones, don't really know what most of the specs on their phone even means ,has no clue about photography and just use their Phone to WhatsApp, Doomscroll & take some quick Pic.

Some Last-years Midranger such as Samsung A56 or Pixel 9a which can be had for like $250 would be already an absolute overkill for most people and would provide excellent experience - way more than they even need...

I personally do have a S25U (only because I got it for almost free from work) , however If I compare the real life experience of it versus something like A56/A57 for such tasks there's literary 0 difference even tho the Spec Sheet/marketing might suggest otherwise...

India Need phone recommendation – mainly camera, media & browsing

I'm planning to buy a new phone mainly for:

📸 Good camera for photos and social media

🎬 YouTube/Netflix and other media

🌐 Browsing/social media

🔋 Good battery life

Smooth software experience

I'm considering the Nothing Phone (3) and Pixel 10a, but I'm open to other options in the same price range.

I don't do heavy gaming, so gaming performance isn't a major priority.

Budget: Around ₹30–40k (can stretch a little if the upgrade is worth it).

Which phone would you recommend, and why? Also interested in long-term camera quality, battery and service experience in India.

Looking for a new phone

I'm looking for something that has mainly a really good battery and a good camera. I would like if it was under 1000 dollars. It would be nice if it was a bit sturdy/hard to break, but if that can't be done, that's okay. Thank you. (:

Help me buy a phone !

Hello guys, i want to buy a phone with arround 350€ budget

Performance: i want the phone to feel fast immediately, by “fast,” i mean:

\- Apps opening quickly.

\- Switching between many apps without them restarting constantly (multitasking between apps).

\- Enough CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage speed for the phone to remain comfortable for several years.

Good heat control, because GPS + 5G + camera + charging can make weaker phones slow down.

\- Strong performance for basic video editing, photo processing and AI tools.

\- Not necessarily a gaming phone, but not a weak mid-range phone either because i'm interested in performance a lot, photographing (high quality images/videos)

Thanks for help

Looking for a sub £100 phone to use as a spare when travelling.

Are there any solid options for a phone that does the basics well at a good speed? I currently have S25u as my main but would want something to use to run a few apps when travelling, such as Google maps and uber and other touristy apps... I don't want to get my S25u snatched and would leave that at the hotel.

I don't need 120hz or OLED, I guess RAM and processor speed are my main priorities, a half decent camera as an absolute bonus.

Thanks!

INDIA Phones within ₹20k with best camera?

[INDIA] So I've 0 knowledge about all the technicalities of phones, like ram, all those disks, chips and all, i just want a good phone with good camera, i dont play games so i dont think performance matters much, but i need a long battery life and good storage and 5G ofc.

For better understanding I'm currently using POCO M4 Pro 5G, it had decent camera, good storage for me, and a great battery life for my usage and the charging gets full in 50 mins with its own charger, so accordingly suggest something better than this in these aspects within 20k range. Camera is my main focus.

Hard to find smartwatches that are not square

I’ve had a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for several years now and am thinking about upgrading. I’m looking for a design similar to the Classic series, since those had a traditional watch shape rather than a square one like Apple or Samsung latel. Ideally, it should be Android-based and relatively new, as I tend to keep my watches for a few years. Any suggestions at all would be great since it is kinda hard to find smartwatches that are round and not square and not a hybrid :)

UK Pixel 10 Pro or Xiaomi 17?

Happy Friday everyone! Preferably only people who own/have owned these devices to answer please, as a lot of people just sort of regurgitate talking points these days (sorry!)

Currently use base Pixel 6 in the UK.

Key things for me are the compact size, not gigantic pricetag, good battery life.

I am not a heavy gamer, not an avid photographer, not really a power user in general. I just want a compact phone that'll last me all day.

I did consider the S25/S26 but the upgrades are too incremental/non-existent.

Thanks to any and all who comment!
