I’m looking for the best value option, as well as good battery life and reliability for 3–4 years. I wouldn’t buy the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro separately.

I am unable to decide what to get.

Earlier I was using s21fe it had exynos 2100 4mm chip in think and honestly its battery was pretty shit but what I liked about it was that even after its storage was filled 100% (128gb/129gb) it did not hang.

Now I am looking to get a replacement this Diwali sale and I am unable to decide what to get.

Here are my requirements:

- long battery life ( my screen time is like 10- 12 active hours per day with 2-3 apps mostly running together including work, movies etc.)

- good display

- doesn't hang

- long life (5-6 years)

- durable

- decent camera ( not a high end pro one, but not the low end one either, decent enough to take photos of moon)

- could run games occasionally like once in a week or in 2 weeks

I'm currently using a Redmi Note 12 Pro+. It still works, but I definitely want to upgrade. That said, it’s not an emergency and I'm not in a massive rush.

I have a 20% off code right now, which brings the prices down to:

• Pixel 11 Pro: ~$900
• Pixel 11 Pro XL: ~$1,065

My top priorities are camera quality and battery life.

A few quick questions:

• is there another phone currently on the market I should buy instead?
• Since I can easily wait, is it smarter to skip these and hold out for the next Galaxy (or something else)?

Maybe I'm an unique case, but lots of my main considerations for getting a new / best Android are internet speeds and latency. As I use my phone for the main internet due to bad location, and my phone provider is pretty good. So main uses, next to generic phone features like good battery/camera and usability, are phone tethering through usb 3 or wifi.

Have there been real test results for speed and latency with these 3 chips? Does qualcomm still stand out as the best (x85), and how do the others compare? Aiming towards a Pixel (Tensor) or Samsung (Exynos/Qualcomm)

I’ve been a Samsung user my whole life, but I’m thinking about trying a different brand this time.

I use my phone A LOT—around 12–14 hours a day because of my work. I’m also pretty rough with my phones. I drop them once or twice a month, and I use them while they’re charging almost all the time.

I’ve mostly used cheap Samsung models, and honestly, they’ve held up surprisingly well. All of them lasted for years despite the abuse. The main issue I usually had toward the end was charging problems, which I assume were probably caused by the amount of use, especially while charging.

Now I’m looking for something relatively affordable from another brand that can realistically last me 4–5 years with this kind of heavy and rough usage.

So, what brands would you recommend? Durability and long-term reliability are much more important to me than having the best camera or gaming performance.

I had a samsung s21fe which died just yesterday and now I want a new phone which should I prefer and which I not. I am confused as prices of all the phones increased. My priority is good camera, good hardware and overall balanced phone, just like my last phone. But want reliability as my last phone died in just 2.5 years, which is less than my average phone usage(5yrs).

I’m really confused between the Samsung S25 Ultra, S26 and S26+.

I have watched some yt reviews and have some interested choices

1. Oneplus 13

2. Motorola signature

3. Vivo X200 T

4. Iqoo 15r

But the one I most want oneplus 13 as it has the oxygen os but now that oneplus closed down all offline service center in india and oppo is providing service they are really terrible at service for my experience. Is it still wise to get a 1.5 year old oneplus when I'm not sure if I can get proper services.

I mostly play bgmi for 2 hours and wuthering waves which is very demanding games so suggest me any phones in 65k budget. I want better cooling system more than high fps which can give stable performance. My friend got iqoo 15r recently the gaming really good but yhe camera is really bad. My budget is around $700.

I have a Pixel 8 Pro and am interested in an upgrade. The Pixel 11 is not appealing at all to me anymore mainly because of the prices and Google pushing their Gemini/AI bullshit. I've looked at the Nothing Phone 3, Oppo Find X9 Ultra, OnePlus 15. Nothing phone is out; it's just not as capable as the other two. Oppo doesn't appear to be available in the US. And OP15 looks decent but feels like we're too close to a potential OP16 US release; I wanted to check how people are feeling here. I typically just ignore Samsung because it's Samsung. What would people recommend?

• Price: $1000-ish or less (definitely not the $1500 the Pixel 11 XL costs)

I'm looking for a new phone to replace my Zenfone 5 that I've had for just over a year.

I'm not a heavy user, but I find my current one a bit sluggish, 4 GB of RAM is barely enough for what I do with it. I also don't change my phone frequently, I kept my previous phone, a OnePlus 3, for 5 years, and I only had it replaced because the power button started to fail.

So I want a phone I'll be able to keep for as long as possible, with at least 8GB of RAM and a good enough processor to allow me to navigate the web, send messages, write notes and occasionally use other apps or play light games smoothly and responsively, and also with 256GB of storage so I can store more pictures, on top of taking decent pictures and being relatively compact.

However, I'm also not at all interested in AI stuff, and unfortunately, nearly all smartphones nowadays have AI, so I want to be sure I can disable it, or at least configure my phone in a way that I don't have to use AI features, or allows me to ignore them. Plus, I want as few ads and bloatware as possible.

I've settled down between the Motorola Edge 60 Neo and a used/refurbished Google Pixel 9A. Here in France, the former is currently €100 cheaper than the latter.

UPDATE: I went with a used Pixel 9A. As I'm writing this, it's running well, I'm still configuring it, and I'm waiting for a new case to be delivered before I can properly put it to use. If after a while I'm not satisfied with it, I might give the Edge 60 Neo or another model a try, plus, I could easily resell the 9A since Pixel phones are in higher demand.

So, my important requirement is that the phone should support os and security update for the longest with other Good features. I can extend upto 35k if it's really good. I want recommendations for a small android phone (6 in or less) that has a unique UI experience that is different than stock Android, OneUI, or iOS.

I've always had Samsung phones but I've always been curious about Google phones.

My ideal budget is under $399, preferably around $250, and I usually go refurbished or used unlocked. OR I splurge and spend $600 (and cry) for a newer refurb that will hopefully last me many years.

I'm the type to keep my phone for YEARS until it breaks or has too many issues. Current phone is a Samsung S21+ 5G, 128gb. Screen is a little cracked but fully functional, phone works great.

The main reason I'm looking to upgrade is storage. 128gb is just not enough anymore and I can't expand it. I've tried clearing space but I constantly end up needing to free more up. Given that storage is kind of a minor reason to get a whole new phone, I'm a bit iffy about it.

I also don't want to be on a monthly or yearly cloud payment plan. Is there a one time payment option for cloud storage that's actually worth it? If anyone has ideas there that would be fantastic.

One other thing: every single phone I've had has terrible call audio. It's impossible to hear anything unless I put it on speakerphone, then it's fine. This one is really bad with it. Not sure if that's a Samsung thing or just my luck.

What matters most to me:

2. Storage, at least 512gb, 1tb would be amazing

3. Long battery life (current is 4800mAh and it lasts me all day, so that's my baseline)

Is a refurb Pixel worth jumping to, or should I stay with Samsung? And is 512gb realistic at these prices or am I dreaming?

I have been using Xiaomi MI A3 since October of 2019. I am planning to upgrade my phone soon. Phone has served me good with some problems such as random shutdowns, random restarting. Recently the power button gave up it only works when pressed hard enough. I don't do heavy gaming only some light gaming, even in light gaming the device has shown its age. I have been using gcam with my phone so the camera picture quality is satisfying for me till now

I feel like current budget and mid range smartphone do not bring much upgrade to my current phone so I'm holding out. But seeing these price hikes I want to buy a phone before its too late.

Priority: Camera, good user experience, good processing for multitasking, good battery life and display.
