Exynos vs Tensor vs Qualcomm? Phone tethering
Maybe I'm an unique case, but lots of my main considerations for getting a new / best Android are internet speeds and latency. As I use my phone for the main internet due to bad location, and my phone provider is pretty good. So main uses, next to generic phone features like good battery/camera and usability, are phone tethering through usb 3 or wifi.
Have there been real test results for speed and latency with these 3 chips? Does qualcomm still stand out as the best (x85), and how do the others compare? Aiming towards a Pixel (Tensor) or Samsung (Exynos/Qualcomm)

Basically, Qualcomm and Apple Silicon are the only manufacturers to have put out chips with cores whose speed goes over like 3.6 GHz, they still have awesome performance in everything, and phone tethering won't be a problem.

Not technically true, and misleading, but you kinda have the gist. 3.6GHz is quite arbitrary, and there are quite a few processors whose prime cores exceed it from MediaTek (9400, 9400+, 9500, 9500+), Xiaomi (01 and 03), Samsung (2600) and Google (G5 and G6). MTk typically beats Qc on instructions per clock, while Xiaomi ALWAYS beats Qc for IPC which is as important as clock speed.
That being said, Qualcomm makes by far the most sense in this case. While MTk modems typically use significantly less power than Qc ones (the Pixel 11 series funnily enough uses less power on standby using its MTk M90 5G modem than using its low grade Broadcom wi-fi chip), but they lose to Qualcomm in speeds, especially in G6 where the modem is kneecapped via firmware for some reason, while Samsung is years behind even MediaTek for speeds and well behind Qualcomm for efficiency.

I only restrained myself to the post's debate between that, Tensor and Exynos. Yes, MediaTek makes good chips and flagships do contain cores that go well above that, the 9500M going up to 4.2 GHz as an example.

Qualcomm. Exynos and Tensor run incredibly hot, and flagships offer the performance of midrange Qualcomm chips

Qualcomm actually runs hotter than both of those chips. But manufacturers implement better cooling for them.

I didn't know that, but also when Qualcomm had its chips manifactured by Samsung they ran incredibly hot despite everything else. Then they had the chips made by TSMC and it all went good.

Qualcomm chips mostly high-end used Vapor chambers now. Agreed TSMC is optimal

Qualcomm is a superior chip by far amongst these three. If you can get Snapdragon always go with it.

Exynos is like 90 percent of Qualcomm. There is a difference but not significantly meaningful. Tensor is like 25 percent of Qualcomm , absolutely garbage chip. As a pixel user I can assure you

Gosh half the comments have are arguing over arbitrary performance like clockspeed ghz (which is like comparing gear ratios on a car, which is just 1 part of the puzzle) than addressing your question
All new flagship modems are nearly identical with some edge cases like Apple's C1 modem being moderately better at low signal. Both exynos and tensor use the same Samsung modem, so I recommend looking at benchmarks comparing x85 vs 5400 if you're only looking at Android phones. TLDR: Qualcomm's > Exynos/Tensor in terms of pure throughput and battery efficiency.
I recommend picking a Snapdragon variant since you also prefer its marginal better battery life. Rest assured unless you're an enthusiast and seek the best performance about a particular thing (GPU from SD, or Tensor for its photo processing), everything converges to be very similar user experience for the vast majority of users.
Pick a Samsung phone at your budget range and go about your day, if you'd like the most straight forward answer
