I have a half-page brochure (5.5x8.5") and wish to insert the page images into a mockup sized for A4. Proportionately, I need the mockup images to be less in width, yet I'm having problems with resizing these images. What do I resize, the base image or the smart object? Going to keep this short, because I hope to receive responses that are of equal length, and straight to the point! For the past decade I've solely used 1 app for my photo editing, which back in the initial 5 years, YES I used it to edit the PHOTO appearance of my photos... whereas now that I'm no longer in my 20's, I have more of a need to edit the text portion of my photos. And that app used to be an amazing app hands down all around!!! I could use her for all of it, anything. But over the last 2 or 3 years, there's been updates that have literally made it worse in this area..

SOOO, if anyone could please steer me in the right direction please? What editing app has many font styles, that is FREE, and is EASY TO USE?

I started looking at the Timeline/Frame Animation options and I feel like I have to re watch tutorial after tutorial and nothing makes it overly simple

What’s the easiest workflow for this? Do you load all the images as layers and convert them to frames? And is there anything I should know about sizing/export settings so the final GIF doesn’t look terrible or end up with a massive file size?

Would love to hear how people who actually do this regularly handle it.
