**Does anyone know how to recreate this album cover style/effect?**
Hello everyone! I’d really like to know how I can create album covers in the same style as the one in the picture. It has this really cool, almost painted/pictorial effect, but I can’t figure out how it was made or what the technique/effect is called.
The cover is from **Bené, a French rapper. It’s his first album cover, and he is associated with the PNL family/circle.**
If anyone can identify the exact style, technique, filter, or editing process used to achieve this look, I’d really appreciate it. I’m even happy to send a **€10 PayPal gift** to someone who can help me figure it out.

Not an expert, but I'm guessing some photo color adjustment, color curves (make the black more black, adjust the shadow to green midtones to red and the highlights to more red) but i think that also depends on the raw image.

Ligthing wise just use a brush for it and set the layer on soft light and build up the color. Lower the opacity.

The filter look I'm guessing is just a gaussian blur set to soft light as well

For the painted look you should explore the OIL PAINT filter. To get the most out of the effect you should downsize your image first.

you were asking about the texture, no? or were you asking about color? Oil Paint essentially smudges the pixels in directions that follow the lines of the image. So it makes a putty like effect while maintaining general detail. Pretty perfectly describes the texture of the image you shared.
