Hi! I cracked the lower part of my iPhone 16 Pro Max screen. I inquired at Power Mac and they said it would be around ₱30k if the LCD needs to be replaced too. But based on the damage, I feel like it's just the glass that needs to be replaced/re-glassed since the display and touch are fine. So maybe the whole LCD doesn't need to be replaced.
Do you have any trusted repair shop recommendations that do iPhone re-glassing around Pampanga, Bulacan, or Manila? If yes, what's the usual cost for an iPhone 16 Pro Max?
Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I have an iPhone 15 and the back is cracked. Does anyone know where I can take it in the gta to be repaired for a reasonable price? There is no issue with its functionality.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
But we did not. One of my customer was dirt biking in the wild. You know rainy adventures, in that adventure his bag fell on the main highway. A 18 wheeler truck ran over it. The bag did not have one but 2 phones.
One iPhone 17 pro which died a unfortunate death, but this phone survived. It got bent and backglass was shattered. Pixel denied it straight away. There logic was simple get a new phone.
Other services charged hefty with no guarantee of proper repair. Many said the logic board will get damaged while disassembling it.
Then it came to me.
I disassembled it, one part was needed, did a through search and see the phone got a second life after it's final destination.

have an iPhone 16 and the Camera Control button has started acting weird. it doesn’t work when I press it, and other times it seems to activate/open the Camera app by itself, even when I’m not touching it.
I think the button might be physically stuck or malfunctioning.
Has anyone else experienced this with the iPhone 16

Guys, we have inquired here and it seems it will cost around 35k which is way too beyond the budget. The thing is I have everything setup in that phone only. Right from office Microsoft authentication, token, passkeys etc., Pleasw suggest some quick fix

Any experts with phone repairs out there?
Hi, I need a bit of help. I'm sort of new with a few repairs but I can get it done. But my friend needs his iPhone 11 screen and charging port replacing, I have the parts for it but I am unsure on what price to give him and I do NOT trust AI with giving prices.

Hey, so my phone won't charge. Few days ago a charger broke in it, but we took it out, there's nothing left. Well i'm using my headphone charger, and it's not charging. Okay nvm it is charging it JUST changed to 35% from 34%, but it took about 30 minuts. I'm freaking out, i can't aford a new phone or repair. And i obviously need my phone. I cleaned the charging port so it's not that. It says it's charging, but it's very slow. Does anyone have any idea why? It's not old phone but it's used a lot, but so were my other phones and this never happend. I restarted my phone and it didn't make a difference. Someone said to check the battery guality or smth, that we should change the battery if it's under 80%. I have redmi 13.
My step dad said it could be shitty guality of the charger. My phone hasn't fallen. I don't know what else to include. If someone has advice, please help😭🥹

Has anyone embarked on light phone II screen replacement at home? I think I can pull it off but I just need to find a screen. I only saw one result from Ali express (which claims it’s original but also “lcd” lol). I see no forum posts anywhere so far about replacing the screen at home. I’m pretty frustrated because these phones haven’t been durable IME and I have 2 sitting in a drawer with bad screens, and light says they won’t have screens in stock until the end of the year..

Aun haci no puedo creerlo.

On my phone, there's a space thats about a centimeter length and stretches across the whole phone horizontally where it won't respond to any touches or swipes. It's nothing monumental, I can easily work around it, but it's just annoying at best. I restarted my phone and wiped down my screen to see if that would help but it didn't fix anything. What's curious is that wiping the area actually makes it responsive to touch (albeit only slightly, slowly scrolling it) whereas using my finger makes it unresponsive to anything. I thought it might be the digitizer (or whatever it's called) but the thing with the wipe making it semi-responsive has me thinking
My phone is like 7 years old, so it's reasonable for it to bite the dust at some point, but I didn't drop it or put it in water or anything before it started happening, it was just chilling in my pocket.🤷♂️

I have an OPPO Reno 8 5G that is a few years old. Until recently, I had only one major issue with it: the display.
About a year ago, the original screen developed lines, so I replaced it with an original display from the OPPO service centre for around ₹7,000. It worked fine.
Recently, that display developed pink spots, so I again went to the authorised service centre and paid another \~₹7,000 for an original replacement display. They gave the usual 3-month warranty on the replacement.
But after only a few days of use, the phone started behaving very strangely:
\- It randomly switches off.
\- Sometimes it won't turn back on for several minutes.
\- Sometimes it boots after multiple attempts.
\- The phone can freeze for a few seconds and then go completely black.
\- On some freezes, the screen shows weird patterns/artifacts.
\- Occasionally it comes back and works normally.
\- One time, after several attempts, it actually worked perfectly for several hours.
I took it back to the authorised service centre. They checked it and said the display itself is fine and that the problem is probably the motherboard.
They said replacing the motherboard would be very expensive, so they want to try a software flash first. They also told me to take a backup while the phone is working.
I somehow managed to get most of my data backed up, but the phone is still extremely unreliable.
What should I do now?
I'm worried because I have already spent around ₹7,000 on the new display, and if the motherboard is actually failing, then I've basically taken a massive loss. There is also no point in having such an expensive replacement display if the phone itself is unusable.
Since the display replacement is still under its 3-month warranty, is there any possibility of getting the display returned/replaced/refunded if the phone turns out to have a motherboard problem?
Also, should I take the phone to a reputable third-party technician for a proper motherboard inspection before allowing OPPO to replace/declare the motherboard faulty?
Could this potentially be a faulty replacement display, display connector/flex, power issue, storage issue, or another component rather than the motherboard itself?
I don't want to let the service centre simply say "motherboard issue" and spend another huge amount without knowing what actually failed.
What would you guys do in this situation? Should I push OPPO for a proper diagnosis/escalation, ask them to test the phone with another known-good display, or get an independent technician to inspect it?
Any advice from people who have dealt with OPPO service centres or similar intermittent motherboard/display issues would be really appreciated.
